i have a cellphone, but it's my only phone. most of my friends are long distance, so i have it for the free long distance option.

Really? You left Hawaii for Arizona? Hmmm. The only reason I haven't considered Hawaii is cost of living. I heard that's a great place to live! Well, that must say a lot for Arizona.

I live just outside DC. Want the run-down: High cost of living. Astronomical housing prices. Heavy traffic. Nearest DZ is about 2 hours away. The 5 nearest DZs are all fairly small 1-plane operations. jeesh. that's what i thought. that blows. my sister lives outside of DC and so do some of my friends. but that's what i thought i'd here. and skydivers know best.

So, right now, it sounds like DZ.COM peeps prefer Texas, Arizona, and Florida the best. That's nice cuz they all have GREAT dropzones. Anything bad about any of those places???

I have friends is Ashville, North Carolina. I love that place. It's gorgeous - right in the mountains. Cool little town with great people. Great cliffs, hikes, mountain biking, etc. BUT there's no dropzone nearby! Hey, what about the DC area? Anyone live there? Where would you skydive if you were from DC?

Gee. So busted. I usually have skydiving wallpaper. But I'm kinda hallmarky right now. My sister sent me a picture of my nephew in his Halloween costume and it was too cute not to make it my wallpaper.

Here's the deal: I love my dropzone, I love my friends in Michigan, but I'm flat out sick of Michigan. I've been here for two years now and I can't seam to get used to it. I'm trying to figure out where I would go if I decided to relocate. Can you guys give me some suggestions??? Considering the following, where would you go? 1) Must have a good dropzone within 50 miles. 2) Must have decent weather conditions. 3) Must have an acceptable job market. 4) Must have an inspiring landscape. 5) Must have a reasonable cost of living.

Oooooooooh. That is just plain EVIL! Our otter took off for Florida yesterday - our DZO decided to buy a second dropzone. Pbbbbbbbbbbt. Chhhhhhhhhhhhh. What-evah! So, until I go visit the new Skydive SoBe in Pahokee, it's C182 jumps for me.
