I've spent many drunken evenings on those metro trains running from Grand Central to Connecticut. I can't even imagine. Please excuse me. I'm going to go puke now.

Okay. I'm in Michigan. And NOBODY jumps with guns. BUT, it is the "midWest" and people do have guns. And I guarantee you there is a fair mix of conservatives and liberals. Lots of our jumpers spent time or started their jumping careers in the armed forces. Many own several guns. Early, early, early season we like to pull 'em out and shoot at bottles and targets now and then. But NEVER NEVER NEVER mix it with jumping. That's just plain sketchy if you ask me. Potatoe guns... now there's a different story!!!!

I LOVE YOU!!!! You rock! I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I was trying to build a form in word and then convert it to PDF and it was driving me nuts!!!!!!! I used the text box tool and it worked. Thanks for your help everyone! Yay! Now I have more time to spend on dz.com today! btw... next time I'm in NJ I'm buying you a beer!

Sorry Guys, I’m stumped. Can any of my super cool computer geek friends help me? I need to turn a word document into a PDF Form that people can fill out, save, and email. They used to use this document internally only, but now they want it available on the web. Does anyone know how to do this? I know how to convert to a PDF – that’s easy. I just can’t seam to do it with fields that can be filled out. Grrrrrrrr. -Frustrated in Flint

When I was growing up, I got bruises after EVERY jump. I thought it was almost amusing, because as soon as the bruises would begin to disappear, I was at the dz ready for some more. Like everyone has said already, student gear sucks. Ride it out. As soon as you are jumping your own gear you will NEVER feel that pain. You'll be consoling the new students going "why do I have bruises?" Good luck! Edited to add: Consider is a rite of passage. -

I just don't spend a lot of time at the bars. Too many other cool things to do. The Heidelberg is cool for its hookahs - kind of a skydive tecumseh tradition in a way.

Actually, strangely enough, I've never been. It's hard to get skydivers to the bar when you have such a cool dz to hang out at (and when you spend all your money on jumps). When we do go out, it's to the Full Moon or the Heidelberg or Ashleys. Is Arbor Brewing Company cool???
