I haven't read through all of the posts yet, but wanted to respond to this (perhaps I'll find someone already did). I wonder if it's the fact that het images are so common and gay images not so much that makes us pass over them? What I'm saying is, while I think it's as ridiculous as you do that someone get upset by gay images, I wonder if the reason we pass so casually over the het images is that we just don't notice them anymore. I know I didn't even think about that until you pointed it out..they really ARE everywhere! Pammi

Interesting! I hope you get on..I still say it'd be a fun experience and I'm all for trying anything and everything you can! You might be under-estimating your chances of getting on. Way too much thought going on here If I weren't too old, and oh yeah married with kids, I'd definately try it! Go for it! Worse that can happen is they say no, best that can happen is that you have a tremendously original experience (even though reality tv is so big, there are still not THAT many people who get to be on them). Do it while you can. Before you know it, you'll be settled into adulthood and it's harder to enjoy the freedom to do fun things just to do them! Pammi

Not so much patient, but I'm about as laid back as it gets with skydiving...I gave up trying to be good at it long ago! I just give it my best shot and have fun! I think that's part of the reason I like the freeflyers I've jumped with on occassion.. I sit there and think "What if this happens, and what about this." They're always like, "Whatever." and shrug. LOL! So much more casual then "fly your damn slot!" Pammi

I had such a great time yesterday...I have an absolute permagrin today! LouDiamond and another gentleman (I can't remember his name! I'm so sorry! I'm terrible about names!) took myself and Katiebear on a headdown yesterday. OMG!! SO awesome! I even finally stuck a sit for a while on the next jump I give up...I'm going to have to try out this whole freeflying thing a bit more now! Pammi

ROFL! Well THAT sounds like our house, although they haven't found any toys or busted in on us yet. They did find the rope once but I don't think they realized it was tied to the bed...I just kicked it back under and pretended I was keeping it under there I wouldn't want the kids to catch us...that'd be sick. And they are 11 and 8, so already asking questions, particularly my older girl. I'm straight up with them about sex and also honest with them about the down sides of it. The cool thing is now my daughter knows she can ask me or tell me anything (I think). She saw something on TV one evening where they mentioned masterbation. She was a little embarrassed but asked me what it was and actually discussed it with me briefly. I'm proud that they can feel okay with asking me those thinks and hope that it will lead to them being honest with me in the future about it. Kids are learning about it so young nowdays! There was a kid in YMCA that was apparently getting very graphic about it who was only in the 2nd grade! NOT the way I want me kids to learn! Anyways, I don't expect to have family porn parties (good gawd!) but they *do* know mom and dad like to 'do it' regularly Pammi

What's WRONG with you?! LOL! Good on ya..although very strange. I've only paid someone to pack a couple times. Partly because I think of the money I could be using for jumps (particularly if it's Merrick and I both paying) and partly because I'm pissed off that I still suck at it. Granted I've had too many on and off times in skydiving so the off times slow me down again, but I want to be at least decent at all aspects, including packing. *shrug* Pammi

I wondered how many of you let your kids know about your sex life, or your parents let you know about theirs? I remember my dad grabbing my mom's butt when I was a kid and though it was funny and weird, but cool. Now I consider it healthy that the kids know we have an active, loving sex life. (Although Merrick does try to not make it harder on them by covering my mouth if I'm TOO loud!) What do you think? My friend is appalled that our children are so aware of when we have sex (I think the door shut and locked while they are watching TV in the other room is the first clue) while I think that it's really none of their business what we're doing, and if they know (which I assume they probably do) then perhaps they will understand it's a natural part of a good relationship.
