ROFL!! No you didn't! LOL!

My kids even had homework in the 4-year-old program! Nowdays it seems like they are big into 'parent involvement'. At the beginning of school this year (they are now in 2nd and 6th) I got three thousand forms to read and fill out about the rules, and how a significant part of their grade is homework and home projects. Back when I was in school (good grief, I'm already talking like that!) homework was work you didn't have time to finish at school. Now it's something they hand out at the end of the day. And while I'm bitching, I also don't understand why PE is a once a week thing. Physical fitness isn't important anymore? No wonder all of the kids nowdays are getting heavier and heavier! Plus they have their school programs and such during the day now too...how the heck am I supposed to get to them when I work 40 minutes away?! School starts earlier because they don't have enough busses, so one of them goes at 7:30, the other at 8:15, but you can't drop them off more then 15 minutes before school starts so Merrick and I have to split up on when we go to work since we can't drop them at the same time, and if I'm late picking them up, I have to pay by the minute for the time I'm over. It's getting crazier and crazier. Get used to it. Pammi

13 days and a wakeup! YEAH!

LOL! Yeah, I managed to show the workings of my own brain by messing up the clicky. You beat me to fixing it :)

Speaking of...when are YOU coming back Katie??
-
Well it's a start, but I think we're still far from understanding you men! New Book Offers Clues to the Male Brain Pammi

Fantastic! I hope Merrick can put up with me for that long! And raising happy, healthy, responsible children (okay, if they are jumping, maybe not responsible) is the biggest acccomplishment ever! Congrats! Pammi

Nope, I second that...he has to come back here! Pammi

>>>> It'll go great and be over before you know it!

Good for you. I spent five years with a liar and am STILL paying for it 4 years later. My kids will be dealing with it for a lifetime. Now I won't tolerate lying about ANYTHING, no matter how small because after all, if you'd lie over the little things, you certainly aren't going to come clean when you REALLY screw up! Pammi

I'm so sorry to hear how bad you've been feeling, Sky. I've been there, and I know how loneliness can get you, particurly when it's mixed with sadness. Don't let it get to you to the point where you are self-destructive and realize, it will pass. If you look at the bigger picture...there are SO many years in life, and things have a way of going up AND down. But like someone else said, you appreciate so much the ups when you've been through the downs. Let yourself feel bad, acknowledge it, but don't succumb to it. *hugs* Pammi

I'm so glad I found this thread..it was exactly what I was wondering as well. I am going to be doing more solo jumps while I'm sharing a rig, so I thought it might be a good time to play with learning some freeflying. I've tried doing sits a few times, accomplished it probably once is all so far. Is that the best way to get started? Practicing a sit on your own? I have a freefly suit, although I think I'll have to tape the legs a little tighter at first...it's hugely baggy around the ankles and I'm wondering if that's helping to cause the flipping head over heals (I know part of that is my own lack of skills as well). Sweet! We'll be out there this weekend...dropped off Merrick's rig for a repack a few days ago. We're pretty much screwed as far as currency ourselves. I never bothered to get my B or C license, they didn't do the water training back home...it always got cancelled...so I've still got an A Plus 5 months no jumping, I have no idea what we'll have to do to get back up, but who cares...just getting back up is awesome :) Much fun to be had this weekend ;) Pammi

Ya know....sometimes I just want to be held. I have feelings ya know. Shut up you big girl!

ROFL!! Whoops We're not back to the old timers talk now are we? I thought all men liked the hissing and scratching, Clay...at least in the bedroom Pammi

You should check the forum out then..not much jump talking going on in there...and I'm just as guilty You know how we women get distracted and love to bitch! Pammi

I'm with most of you...it depends on what you've set out in the relationship as acceptable and not. Pretty easy. But something you have to figure out in the beginning because you may assume they have the same ideas as you about it but find out too late they don't. I'd be more hurt if Merrick fell in love with another woman then f***ed her. I think you can emotionally cheat as well...so HA! If he were to begin sharing his thoughts, dreams, feelings and time with another woman, particularly if he wasn't doing that with me anymore, I think that damages a relationship, possibly worse then sex. I'm not saying you can't be close friends with the opposite sex, we both are, but you shouldn't let them be closer to you then your SO. If you are, then why? I'm also not saying that you can't have feelings for another person. You can't help that...you can help pursuing and nurturing those feelings though. I *do* think sex can be just sex, while love or such feelings are deeper. Pammi

Ah bite me, darling. Someone else had a worse landing then me on that trip, AND had to remove his nipple ring for the surgery after! Pammi Ahhh.. If only that were the case... Ya see, it was a bad landing on the tarmac at Quincy 2001 that ripped them from her otherwise perfectly sculpted boobies! Blues! Merrick

Ever see "Chasing Amy"? Love that movie. I think if someone can find someone to love and love them back, more power to them, regardless of who it is. I, personally, would like to say I wouldn't care whether it was legalized or not, but I'm not much of a romantic about the concept of marriage. I couldn't have cared less if Merrick and I had got married or not. And if he'd been a woman, I would've still fallen in love with the person he is and hopefully he'd been a hot woman so I could've been attracted to him as well! He's my soulmate either way and who I belong with. I can see why you'd want it legal though because of other reasons, such as covering your significant other with your insurance and other such things. But other then that, it's no one's business who's in my bed, or yours Pammi

We called Sprint and had to 'force the DNS', and now it's working. Thanks!
