ROFL! So what's changed? LOL! Hey I'm above 100 jumps now! I can't even keep up with the posts anymore. I end up making a comment then losing track of it within a day. I haven't figured out if I just don't have as much time, or if there's just that many more posts now. I think both :) I *do* spend less time here then I used to, tho I can't stay away completely. I've made too many good friends here and I'll never forget how people helped us out when we moved so far from home and family. It has been, and still is, amazing what people from here do for each other. Merrick has absolutely no time online anymore, and barely even checks email so I can talk shit about him here all day long and he'd never know. Wow, we weren't even married when we first started on here. Weird! Pammi

I didn't realize you're a teacher Lew. Believe me, you definately have lives in your hands as well. Teachers have my utmost respect, especially now that you guys have less options to handle situations and more situations to handle it seems. My kids entire futures ride on their teachers, and they spend more time with you guys then us parents sometimes. Pammi

That's what I have, it's pretty great for the price. The Canon A70 I couldn't even find when I was looking for a camera back in June, and now they have out the A80 which my boss bought after I took him shopping for a camera for his wife and told him what I'd like to have (aside from the Canon Rebel that's out now for about $1000 bucks!) I'm not sure my Coolpix would do well with jumping though. It has a setting for sport shots that's pretty great, but it's still kinda low end for those kind of speed shots maybe? Phree's prob'ly right that you'd need something more high priced then you want right now it sounds like. Pammi

No kidding there...NO humor. It can kinda make it more fun tho...cuz you can laugh at THEM too. A couple weeks ago I went on a road trip with my boss and his assistant,which is also kinda my boss but a friend too. Anyway, when I called to tell the kids goodnight cuz it was gonna be late getting home, Merrick described to me the pic attached. Again, fit of laughter...me, not them of course :) I like to laugh tho and screw you if you don't think it's funny Pammi

While at our work Christmas party this last week I had a fit of giggling (the alcohol consumed had nothing to do with it I'm sure ) over the idea of one of the attorneys I work for doing a tandem. When he first started there he saw all the stickers on my car and mentioned he'd always wanted to try skydiving (of course) but in Australia they told him he was too big when he tried (he's about 6'5 or so and about 270 I'm guessing). I got to thinking about him doing a tandem with Chucky Blue and Merrick mentioned how Chuck would look like those babies that get carried on a parent's back in that sling most likely. I just got to laughing and couldn't stop. When I tried to explain, everyone just looked at me. C'mon. Even a whuffo shoulda understood that! Then again, I tend to find humor much easier then others sometimes. I have a happy meal bobble-head Pumba on my dash in my car because it makes me smile. Just when I thought it was safe to share a moment with a wuffo. Pammi

Exactly! It's one of the things that made me fall in love with Merrick. He was always courteous and friendly to servers/McDonald's employees/whomever, even without having worked in that field himself. I'm sorry that happened Dagny. I have the utmost respect for waiters/waitresses...I did it for a time and wouldn't do it again unless it was the only option. It's HARD work, and I'm not very good at relying on my being nice to an a$$ to make my living. Maybe you can try bartending sometime? I enjoyed that more (at a club). They throw more and more money you're way as they drink on...you make a lot and they somehow get a kick out of the 'bitch bartender'. Good luck during the holidays girl! Pam

And usually when you get the flu, you can expect to lose at least 5 pounds. The pay-off is great as long as you live through it! Ah well, now I really want it! I think I gained that much over Thankgiving!

ROFL Andrea! I like your idea Quade...I got the damn shot because I can't afford to not get paid, and I kinda hope I get sick now because it'd be the first time I got sick in years! (I've never gotten the shot before.) Then I can rub it in his face how I was right (for all the good it'd do)! What pissed me off the worst was his way of strong-arming me into doing it. I also appreciate the validation of my previous feelings for him...he IS a dickhole! Oh, and a funnier thing? That's my Xmas bonus as well cuz he's too broke he says to do anything for us (tho I haven't had a raise in almost two years and he doesn't provide any insurance at all either). On the upside, I had a phone call from a rather interesting job prospect I applied for that includes massages AND insurance as benefits. Yee haw! Hope I hear back
