Welcome to the forums and congrats on the first tandem. It is good to have a goal for the direction you would like to go in skydiving. But first things first. Focus on your AFF right now. Make sure you know which DZ you are going to do you training at. Also, read through the safety section here on the forums. There is a lot of useful information on there for people starting out. No question is a dumb question, but for the best answers, you should always direct your questions to the instructors at where you plan on training at. I didn't think it was possible to rice out a charger. Congrats. Oh please, some minor mods is hardly ricing anything out. If he put on some huge spoiler, spray painted his interior plastic, used sponsor stickers, etc, THEN I'd say rice. There are a few out there that run that setup in Kafer Kup style setup Super Beetles, with a 2332 or bigger Type IV that's turbo charged. They're pushing 300hp in a beetle. Oh what an imagination and money will buy... or just swap out a porsche 911 motor Its been done and it is actually more expensive with a VERY extensive job of making it all fit and work. Its actually easier to do a complete Subaru swap with radiators and all. last time i checked you dont need 25 jumps to do your check dive. you just have to complete all your aff and coach jumps. Hand in your man-card son. COLD air intake. It looks like the only air that will be sucking in under that hood will be warm air. Based off of where the intake manifold and throttle body are positioned, that intake would not be able reach any cool air.
