On the west coast I would say check out Perris or Elsinore. I have heard that Eloy in Arizona has pretty good weather for the winter. Or, take your pick from any of the great DZ's in Florida. So a friend of mine sent me this video. There is a guy doing a tandem on a hang glider with what looks like a sport rig on (but the title says BASE jump). After the guy releases from the glider, he seems to just disappear. As the glider turns, there is no canopy to be seen. They are already hooked up to the container. I have checked them out and there dont seem to be any issues that I can tell. My rigger had my rig for a month to do some work on it while I wad waiting for my cypres to get back and he never said that there seems to be an issue with the compatibility. So I would take it that means that there should not be an issue with the cutaway housings. I will check with Velocity sports to see if they know of a compatibility issue with them. So I picked up a used infinity rig about a month ago. I realized right away that the 3 ring system was different than what I had seen and used before. I have thought about going back to standard risers or the mini 3 ring, but seems like it would probably be pointless. I also think that they are kinda ugly looking. But I can live with that. I picked up a rig about a month ago and was curious as to what type of lines are used for my canopy. I meant to ask my rigger, but forgot to when I picked it back up from him.
