My point is Trump is a moron but it appears that a significant number of Americans like him. No he’s never been presidential but that is the point he sells. I would imagine a strong candidate is needed, unless he anti trump sentiment is so strong that ‘anyone will do’, I personally would be in that camp.

I have no time for Trump, he’s a conman and liar. But honestly the Democratic Presidential candidate’s don’t look very strong against him. Certainly at this point none appear very presidential. Do you think there is a dem that can win against Trump?

I had to catch an Uber today and had a Somalian Uber driver who had a great sense of humour and interesting world travels. He spent a couple of years in Seattle and said he hated it, far too many crazy people with guns. I found that extremely funny being a Somalian.

Have you watched the darkmatter cartoons on YouTube? They cover interesting issues like pre destiny. If god is Omni potent and yet pre determines that some of us will go to hell, that would by definition make him an evil god.

I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but the location of the crash, timing of it and that it was Ukrainian sure makes one think. Especially since the skeptics amongst us think Trumps hit on the general had more than a little to do with distracting from Ukraine based impeachment storyline

Ukrainian passenger plane has crashed in Iran. Bad timing if it was genuinely an accident. I wonder if the USA or Iran had people on board that were convenient passengers. I get the feeling the Middle East is going to plunge into a very bad situation and fast. This could get very messy

Reading comments on The Hill website raised a point that I hadn’t considered previously. It seems plausible that through a proxy Iran could target a Trump owned property. If such an event occurred I wonder how Trump would react?

Speakers Corner sucks. I missed the dz.com boogies, but I met a number of posters when I was spending a lot of time in the USA and in fact Keith was the first person who showed me hospitality and took me out to dinner and showed me around town. I really wish that S.C. had more civilised discussion. It’s fine having different opinions, but shit sometimes this place feels like a fight to see who can be the biggest arse. The St Patrick’s boogie was amazing and I hope to go back sometime. Just reminiscing and thinking how different people can be in real life.

Ok wow. In reference to total ownership I was thinking of Switzerland, although I hadn’t realised the USA was THAT obsessed with guns. It also was probably not the clearest post in the first place. We were taught to respect guns and that they were tools for sport and eating and not to be pointed at humans. Americans (generalisation) tend to celebrate/glorify violence. From the videos of death and distraction by their military, to the movies etc.
