  1. Ahh, Thomas.. stirring the shit as always..Ok, I'll bite. First of all, not everyone believes in your god, remember? Second, even christians would have to be very selective about what parts to believe if they wanted to judge homosexuality by using the Bible. Many(most?) of the things said in the Bible really can't be applied to the 21st century. Interesting point. If homosexuality was caused by a genetic difference, wouldn't it be "selected out" by now?
  2. Just repeating the bossman's words... Check out this thread.
  3. Hey! I just recently installed GIMP. Do you know of any good sites with script-fu tutorials?
  4. >"this ain't no democracy" "This ain't no damn democracy", I believe you're trying to say...
  5. I think that'll only work with WindowsXP. The older MSpaints only know how to handle .bmp-images.
  6. No. Nope. I said nothing about big.
  7. >DAMN STREP THROAT! Now don't tell me you haven't tried all you can do about it? Have you tried desinfecting your throat? I hear rum works pretty well... But I guess anything strong enough will do fine...
  8. I think there's a face in the lower right corner of the pic... And that looks like some sort of interference pattern on the left(or maybe it's just fancy graphics?). JT, it's spelled harakiri. Pronounced approx. ha-rah-kee-ree And to all the newbies out there, if you need your pics resized or something, just post'em in Talkback with a cry of help... someone will help you out.
  9. >got this link to pics on rec.dot > >http://digital.net/bryan/bry17.html So where are the pics now?
  10. I was on a 12-way attempt once that built to a 11-way.
  11. Have there actually been cases where the cypres batteries have leaked? I've often heard of taking the reserve out "just in case", nothing wrong with that of course, but has this actually happened to anyone?
  12. ...words like sabre, stiletto, vengeance, fury, javelin, wings, etc. had completely different(their original!) meanings?
  13. Well, yes, almost every time I tried to jump with contacts. In my experience it's better to lose both than only one, it screws with your depth-perception much less... My goggles obviously must've leaked enough to dry up my eyes, causing the contacts to fall out.
  14. >I read this thread very Friday and wonder what a haiku >is every time. Can someone fill me in? It's traditional japanese poetry. There's much more to it than the 5-7-5 rhytm... Do a Google search.
  15. The manufacturers comments: http://www.performancedesigns.com/sabre.htm http://www.performancedesigns.com/silhouette.htm
  16. Thanks for the info. >Speeds were averaging 115 unadjusted, Slow, indeed. I thought the bases of big-ways had to go much faster to compensate for the slowing down of the formation when it got bigger.
  17. How fast was the base? How much lead were they wearing? What about the completed formation? How fast did it fall then? Any Pro-Track data available yet? Total freefall time of the base?
  18. 1. find cool pic on the 'Net 2. Save it on your computer 3. (Optional) Photoshop until it's good to use as a profile pic 4. upload
  19. >Besides, I call Photoshop on this one. Yah, me too. Something just ain't right in the pic. In addition to the fact that the pussy doesn't even look wet.
  20. >I'm still working with my Commodore 64, so I'm no help. Nothing wrong with that, I have one of those too. Now if you were actually surfing DZcom on that Commodore, that would be something! (No, I'm not, either.) And sorry Skymama, I'm not an expert on Access or databases. Just trying to hijack your thread!
  21. Damn that fat bastard can't stay on his feet after ~800 points... I'm thinking it's all luck after that.
  22. That's way too high... The rate I've seen quoted was 1 or 2 / 1 million. Vaccines are administered only once, with maybe a booster shot a few years after. That sounds more like he was talking about antibiotics. Vaccinations really wont have much of an effect on strains of viruses(virii?). That would require that the virus was actually out there, and not contained in a lab somewhere. I really think you've mixed up the antibiotics/bacteria thing with vaccinations.
