You watched that Star Trek episode, huh? I heard the Shatner school of melodrama voice going on there.
-
You're still a Norteno at heart, ese.

Pinch yourself. He's a breakdancer. He has to break himself.

Gasson and Finley had some examples of film transferred to video at the Holiday Boogie, and it was very beautiful stuff.
-
Just cross-post them to events for the humorless wienies. I've had 20 ounces of espresso so far. I guess it's enough coffee when your pupils are dialated and fixed, huh?

Oh just shut up, (post)whore. Bwahahaha!

Why would anybody click on a thread called "Sickening"
Deuce replied to Deuce's topic in The Bonfire
I don't want to be sickened. I'd be willing to be sickened by getting a ride with the Blue Angels, or the Thunderbirds, but my Monday morning does not require any additional trauma. -
Huh??? 5 10" is short? bummer.. lol Hah! Reality Check! I think 5 9" is average, so .308 may not be real!

C'mon Vinnie! That's like taking a bite of something, realizing it's rotten, and then holding it out to a friend and saying "OH MY GOD! THIS IS ROTTEN! REALLY. TASTE IT!" I'll just take your word for it, duderon. Blech. -

Chopster. I have a woman I have been satisfying for 20 years. She is currently completely satisfied. Completely. As in, if she had a meter, it would be well into the green. She communicates regularly with many of the chickie-mama's on the threads, and she justs giggles and says "yes!" when pressed about if things are good in the Kelly Marriage. All I do for Harlan is set the bar very high. Very, very high. He's doing fine.

There is nothing at all nice about any bar fight that I am involved in. Like that nice knucklehead in the prop, they usually figure out I'm lousy at chest-bumping. Piggyback dancing, next year with that rock climber guy you hang out with.

Vouchers, my dear. My kids teacher is an ex-nun, mom of 3, with an MA in education. It takes two incomes, like in most other endeavors. With vouchers, I'd be getting some of the 50% of my California tax dollars that I spend towards education, and I'd pay more in tuition to pay teachers like you. But the government discourages my moral values. So I pay huge taxes towards a crappy education system, and I pay big bucks every month to educate my kids outside that system. It's still pennies on the dollar compared to the outrageous waste that per pupil spending is in the public system. God, if we had the per pupil spending the state spends and spent it in the Catholic system ( I know lots of people have issues with my religion, but it is, bar none, the most cost effective educational establishment), the public school rate of students continuing on to College would be 95% for the public schools too.

Did you know you are one of the coolest people I've ever met? On another subject. I don't handle rude well. At all. Ask Derek. I tend to hospitalize rude people. If they persist. They usually don't. I got a lot of skydives in today. Thank God. Hi All. Amazon gives great full-frontal hugs. Not rude at all.

Our education system is the product of a committee, so it pleases no one. My girls are in Catholic school, where I am on a first name basis with the pricipal and their teacher. California public schools get their funding through Average Daily Attendance, so the focus is on warm seats, not stimulated minds. Additionally, at the high school level, lots of the girls are dressed up like Brittney Spears clones, and I can assure you when I was in high school, if I had that distraction, I would still be reading at the 7th grade level. The teachers at my girl's school make even less than their unionized public school counterparts, but they stay forever, cause the parents are all involved, and cause they get to teach. Gotta go to church, laters. My kids sing in the choir with their teacher's daughter.

No, my approach is to get the flashes to recycle faster and stay with one still camera. I'm sticking with the conceptus tongue switch. With the Quantum Turbo 2X2 and two 550's I can get high speed sych flash with light levels back up near where on 550 will shoot at 1/200th, and they pop at 9fps. With that battery, the biggest concern is not burning up the flash heads.
-
Dude, that was heinous smaketh.
-
Paul, you're Catholic?

I get easily confused. I'm old and I drink too much. I meant Perris last year. I figured out I was wrong when she talked about getting that giant hug-rubbing experience from Amazon, but I figured nobody was reading this thread anymore. Do I get an award or something? This is the best thread in a while. I so rock. I can't remember where I am, but I truly do rock.

Can I use a Stoboframe on Cannon Sure Shot?
Deuce replied to freeflir29's topic in Photography and Video
Then spring for the Stroboframe. It's far less than six beers in some British pub. -
Dude, the new FTP arrived today. Got the quantum battery pack, and the two 550's communicate wirelessly just fine. The gear is all configured and we will start on the wannabe Gasson top right after I finish the DZ.Eloy video next week. First go is aluminum to figure the specs, then we go exotic. There is NOTHING better than having a class A machinist with all the CAD\CAM laser guided 5 axis machine tools on the market be interested in making the coolest camera helmet ever. Think of the cage of a hockey helmet, but chrome-plated and with all kinds of camera stuff in it. Wicked, wicked cool.

Yeah Clay, just reinforce the side inside the helmet with some sheet metal, cause when you crank that knob down, you can crack the fiberglass. If you're not taking your camera off to change film on back-to-backs, you don't need a quick release. JP -
Pre or post broken ankle? I was polite to the nurses and they gave me an unreal amount of pain medication. Not much was really real after that.
