    Yeah, I'll do the G5 equivalent when the time comes, but my P4/2.4ghz with 1.5 (edit) Gigs of RAM is cutting it with Premiere 6.5. It also may be cheaper to use 180 meg drives daisychained, my USB one is working out fine. I'm thinking you are probably intending to clip out the good stuff of your 100 hours (100 miniDV tapes?) and condense it into something fun to watch. So if you capture a 10th of that stuff to keep, you're talking 10 DVD's at full quality, and three if you do it in long play. I have never had any luck burning to DVD right in the computer so I have a stand-alone DVD recorder connected by firewire to my PC. Last year this time I thought I had the gear to do an hour DVD. I didn't.

And jp, it is kind of erotic to look at, but it would seriously interfere with the joy of getting a handful. So, to see, yeah kind of sexy, but my mind immediately races around the bases towards home, and that is not a base I would look forward to charging.

    With 60 jumps, and currently jumping a triathlon, I will have to step back until you are even barely badass enough enough to attempt it. I have been complemented on my judgement by one of my peer camera fliers, so for the moment my scatology does not emit an aroma. Masticate me, fornicator of you progenitor. Loquatious, aren't I. College do that.

    Well, Rosa. You've met both me and my lover of 20 something years. That said, I want to not have my teeth chipped while worshipping. There's a whole lot of love to be paid to the Mammary God, and metal would simply intefere with anything other than pictures. Interesting, and tactically stimulating, on other couples. The breast is simply beautiful, and needs no ornamentation between lovers. It's OK, but not for us.

    At the DZ.holiday boogie I almost, very almost, got into an epic bar fight with some college football fan for virtually no reason. His no reason. I had Army buddy Skymonkeys at my back, and it would have been both gruesome and beautiful. Fortunately and unfortunately, the offender backed way the hell up, and mayhem was avoided, by a hair. Relevance: zero. But I was very proud to have defined some people to me, and happy with the result. Good God, I'm a neanderthal, but it's working for me.

    Nice Steve! Quite a few of those clips got firewired to me at Eloy and I'm burning DVD's as I type this. Mine goes an hour though. Those flocking jumps are spectacular visuals. On that one with Omar, Greg Gasson got underneath the whole thing, and I've never seen anything like it. No BASE jumping in mine, either.

    You had to be able to fly relative first. Putting on a ringsight won't do dookie for your body position.

    You're talking about a video camera, right? I seriously doubt you need a thousand dollars worth of coached jumps. There is a difference between being a camera flier, and flying with a camera on your head. What's your goal? I did a lot of coached jumps and was deliberately moving towards camera jumping when I had less than a hundred jumps. Did a hundred more with all my mentors knowing what my goals were, and helping me in that direction. I was in the paid rotation for AFF and Tandems before I had 300. Then I started working on my freeflying where I could. Now I've watched Greg Gasson's video of Betsy at nationals and the stuff he gave me for the Eloy video and I'm wondering how I get to that level, if I even can. Anyhow, if you just want souvenir video of the people you jump with, get the camera. If you'd like to have people seek you out to have you video them, get some coaching and put the camera off for a while. JP
