This is the DZ.list I've got so far: McCordia Mojoman Scary Perry Perflare Jari Feetflyer GroundZero Bowie Andy Deuce Who else?

I'm pretty sure we'll break the current record at Perris this May. I think it's a two-point 15 way. We may even get it up to a planeload. We can crush that in Sweden out of the Herc, and with an amazing assortment of international postwhores. Gareth may resist a bit, but I'm sure he'd organize it. I'm filming anyhow. Who's in? Video: Deuce GHolder Schwede? (Do you get to jump or just make everything happen?) Vidiot

Work manifest.

I'd pick you up and give you a hug, but you're much better at that. Happy Birthday, Jeanne!

How many Byron peeps are going down for the Memorial Day Boogie at Perris?
Deuce replied to Deuce's topic in The Bonfire
That would be Memorial Day. Last weekend in May. Bets has a thread in events and happenings or whatever it's called now. The tunnel time offer is just great, and it's right on site so it won't take time away from being on the DZ. I'm committed to an hour of RW training in it and I figured maybe you and a few others might want to book an hour of FF coaching with one of the flyboyz. -

I'm not getting a picture from that site, but I've seen the video. Without question the hardest opening I have ever, ever seen. That was your Cobalt, right? You're supposed to open those things in a track. I am so glad, and amazed, that you are OK.

Because we're so much cooler, and fun to be around !
-
Actually, I was glad for the break. Loving you!

Oh. I have, over several thousand posts, not scrolled down past the photography forum but once, when they put some stuff in other languages down there. I see, up in General Skydiving, that a buch of stuff has been moved, but I can't figure out where. I have already gone through the grieving process for Talkback, and have reconciled myself to never making Mighty Mouse. And then I see this thing here. Oh.

I'm thinking a smoked ham would be bad. It's a coming of age thing, so a cool man-type present would be good. Depending on what you want to spend, a nice pocket knife engraved with his name and his Bar Mitzvah date would be super-cool.
-
Thanks. I'll order some scart connectors. 'preciate that.

I figured talkback was gone forever and I had actually gotten over it. Then I scroll down past the non-english threads and here it is. I guess I'll make mighty mouse after all. Good move, Sangiro-san.

I e-mailed you. But how about a group that wants to work on Freefly skills?
-
Hey, bro, I'm just laying the groundwork early. I probably should have just waited to see what the folks over there need me to have, but I never pass up an opportunity to expose my thirst for knowledge.

The new D-boxes are just big. The rollcages are heavier. I really prefer the lightness of the D-box system, but the unnecessary size is a pain. And I have the big PC120, and it could be much smaller.

I'm thinking I'd like to be able to download into cameras and VCR's in Sweden. We'll also be doing debriefs, and I'd like to be able to do those in real time on the European gear. I'm basically trying to avoid getting a PAL camera that I would use almost never. We've gotten around the tourists needing PAL at the dropzone by providing them with DVD's. Most of the modern DVD's don't have problems with them.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=NavBar&A=getItemDetail&Q=&sku=244774&is=REG&si=spec#goto_itemInfo Anybody used anything like this? I got a gig in Europe this summer and I have a US version of the PC120. Actually I have two. The dookicky I listed states that it converts the signal digitally, so I don't see any downside to using it instead of going even deeper in hock to get a PAL camera. Feedback? Thanks. JP

Jari, I'll have my S3 and my cameras. Once I get that exit dialed we'll get us some fancy pictures. For one, we need to get that interior launch again but with some fill flash .

Can anyone Suggest Some good DVD's to Buy?
Deuce replied to jedisk8r's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Just got it. Goes out tomorrow. You want a New York Police patch? The Aussie cops tend to fight over them and it might get you out of a ticket. Lemme know before mail tomorrow! Thanks for the order! JP -
I'm qualified for the sequential. Everybody on the sequential wants it to work. I'm going to go get that record so that I can move on to the next step of filming something that big. I'm pretty methodical. We all know people who have ratings that really shouldn't be teaching. I was all hot to get my AFF rating this time last year. At the American Boogie I watched Fast Eddie break grips on a speed star, go down and fetch a skydiver, float him back up to the formation and fling him into grips before getting back into his own slot. I couldn't do that at the time, and I think AFF instructors should have that kind of skill. It made me back off and improve my flying. I also don't have the range I should at my current weight. I'm in great shape for the fast base that the sequential requires, but I don't want to be going low on a student and then telling her she is "floaty and needs to arch more, and should be wearing weights"
