Yeah, the kids are cool. Even some of the boys try to get my attention and help with stuff cause I'm the only Dad-mom in the group. That, and I'm just so cool in my "Skydive Team Wings" T-shirt. My girls have veils too. Our little Brides of Christ. Calling them that drives the agnostics nuts, but that's what they are, and they are going to wear their little "wedding dresses" Saturday and be all beautiful and grown up. They believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny, and Jesus. They believe that marriage is forever, and that God will greet us in death. Faith is a value-added thing in life. It detracts nothing. I love my lesbian vegan buddies just as much as the folks I go to church with. I leave judgement to the thing that comes after. Even if nothing comes after, faith has added to my life, and the lives of my family and parishioners. I just smile when I'm mocked for it. It's something that a fictional character named Christ taught me.

We're going to turn points? It'll work, but the RW pair being held by legstraps has to drive with their legs full-blast or it will backslide and funnel. We turned points on the attached picture, but I don't have a handy picture ready where everybody is apart.

The truth doesn't bother me at all. Abortion is capital punishment where no crime has occurred (barring rape or incest or the like, even then not a crime committed by the fetus) and capital punishment is captital punishment where at least 13 people believe a specific crime occurred. I really have no problem with either one, so long as people understand that in both cases a human life is being deliberately ended. A woman has the choice to end her child's life during it's early development. I personally think the hypocrisy is in calling the child a "choice" but hey, I'm Catholic, (and a Republican ) so I'm by definition a hypocrite, right? Anyhow, you know what Catholicism is for me today? I went to my kid's school and made bread with all the second graders and the other Mom's for their first communion Saturday. Then we'll go to brunch with some of the other families. After brunch we'll all tune our implants to RomeOne and recieve our next orders.

Ouch. I knew that was coming eventually.

He's got that one in San Diego at the end of June, but if you get an earlier date, lemme know. Thanks Lew.

On the Hawkeye, the chin cup is a ratchet, and the chin strap is a fastex-type buckle. It takes two movements. The new FTP has a cutaway handle on the right side of my jaw. I still use the Hawkeye as my PookieCam, but unless I'm shooting backwards, it's pretty much retired.

Which one of those hanging SpongeBob's am I? I imagine Chopster is the guy in the middle so he can try for another L&B ad. Unfortunately, the rest of the jumpers are only famous on DZ.com.

Digital pictures on CD-R with a DVD of the jump is $110. Upselling to digital is easy "Just so you know, if I shoot film, the most pictures I can get is 36. If I shoot digital I can get as many as 90 (that includes ground fluff) and you can be e-mailing them to family and friends as soon as you get home. Yes, you can pick the ones you like and have them developed at Wal-Mart or Payless while you wait". To be on the wheel at my DZ now, you have to have a 6+ megapixel digital camera.

My Hawkeye's chin cup retention is dodgy. I will occasionally pop it loose climbing in to position on the Kingair to film a tandem. That's why I always used the second strap. The retention on my new Flat Top Pro is flawless, so far.

maybe contact them and see if they have something int he works?

I had a GIVI hard tail bag on my Katana 1100 and I have the same bag on my K1200RS. I can get both my 143/150 Wings rigs in it. It's a bag that looks good enough to have on a sport bike, locks and is very, very secure. The rack by itself doesn't look bad either. http://www.giviusa.com/index.cfm

You could have me print your blank CD R's for you. PM me.

I can't make the training at my home DZ in August cause I'll be out of town. The course at Skydance is out cause I'll be in Perris that weekend. I'm thinking about the course offering in San Diego the last weekend in June. Anything else coming up in California that may not be on the USPA site yet?

Not quite true, Philly, about the death penalty thing. The current Catholic catechism asserts that ''the Church has acknowledged as well-founded the right and duty of legitimate public authority to punish malefactors by means of penalties commensurate with the gravity of the crime, not excluding, in cases of extreme gravity, the death penalty.'' Vatican Council II declared abortion to be an ''unspeakable crime.'' Pope John Paul II's Evangelium Vitae (Gospel of Life) encyclical in 1995 asserted that responsibility for this crime ''falls on the legislators who have promoted and approved abortion laws.'' (Quotes from Bob Novak's column today http://www.suntimes.com/output/novak/cst-edt-novak03.html ) The current public thrashing that anybody takes, who take an ethical position is chilling. Ideals are ideals and the glee that people take, in condemning me and all Catholics for the crimes of priests, and the foibles of doctrine is just annoying. Of course there's hypocrisy in the system, it's a human system.

That's where silly comes in. Not only did she hump my leg, but she did it during a 138-way dirt dive. Got me huge props among the guys I went to Florida with.

She's patient, tough, and silly. She has tremendous resolve. She showed me her cleavage. Did I mention she showed me her cleavage?

:12:0 Lots of tandem video, freeflying and Skyflying. A great hybrid for Evan's 10 year skybirthday (Chop and I are available for hire as professional ballast) a birdman surf with DeBar on my back, the forward speed with that much weight on an S3 is astounding. No bumper-suit jumps. Oh, and I taught groundschool with Chopchop, Girlfalldown, Videoscooter and Moto sitting in working on their Coach ratings. GFD's favorite quote from the school was "Dude, if skydiving was hard, I'd pay somebody else to do it for me"

Bah. This is the coolest JP picture you ever saw. Admit it.
-
You're absolutely right. I'm leaving now for Sweden via the polar ice cap, an iceberg, and Norway. At some point I'll have to eat the dogs.
-
Mine's even simpler. I walk where I need to go No Herc Boogie for you, then. Walking isn't an option for many of us, Philly.

Gotta agree with BillV here. Never point a gun at somebody you don't have justification to shoot. So, capping somebody for delaying your game seems excessive. Officer: "Why did you shoot that guy?" Dude: "Cause my movie started 15 minutes ago!" I know people were being figurative, but threatening people with guns is not productive. Shooting them, well, that can be, but not over diesel prices.

Thanks for reminding me of that newborn baby blue eye color. How special. Congratulations.
