If at any point in your skydiving you think you MAY come into contact with one Gareth Holder, buy a Wings, just to keep him from launching into a semi-lucid critique of whatever else you get. I have two, and despite the local representative, have had great customer service, and find both rigs very comfortable. Despite using them about equally, all my cutaways have been on the tie-died one. I think it gets stoned. Call Ankie. Oh, and look at my pictures on the Wings website.

Not at all, Sangiro-san! Some people need LARGER egos!
-
(Edited due to presumption that the entire 121 way crew would have been invited.) It was in Florida, right?
-
See, that's my talent. I can get people on the other side of the world, who I have never met, to dislike me. I'm good like that. People like me much better in person. I make just about everybody seem more attractive, intelligent, and sober, by comparison.
-
Do they make and Ego Optimizer I could put someone's head in?

Feel like taking a crack at my logo? I'll use it on a T-shirt and give you one!

She had enough of them straight, Lisa. AND, for those who wanted final vengeance, the surviving teen is eligible for the death penalty. Deaths which occur during the commission of a violent felony, and I'm almost positive carjacking was added to the list about 10 years ago, can be prosecuted for homicide. Both teens are principles in that crime. Interesting little known fact is that the term "accessory" to a crime can only be applied after the fact, by persons who aid and abet the criminal after the fact. Don't worry, be happy. And lock your doors.

Lisa, they saying "Don't trust strangers" is older than both of us, and gee, I'm older than you, missy . When you were a kid, what was the population of your community, (Hemet, right?) and what is it now? With anonymity there is always an increase in crime, and there always was. When neighbors know each other, and go participate in the community, they experience less crime. When they are welcome to talk to each other's kids, they tend to do more group parenting. The other parents of kids in my kids school and my parish see my kids doing something wrong, they'll stop my kids and tell me what was up. I think this is different for other folks who wouldn't correct my kids and would crap their pants if I took their kids by the hand and had them stop doing something. I think it's lawyers and population pressure exacerbating things, but it's definitely not anything new.

This just cracks me up. Feral kids are nothing new. Rodney King was a feral kid and when he got his ass kicked like so many folks here are advocating it was the police's fault. So very much of this is in the eye of the beholder and is a good reminder to be quick to tell your side of a story to the police as quickly as possible when involved in a crime in any way. As told, yeah, total shitbarges. However, if the lady had left a baby unattended in the record heat and the baby was injured as a result, who would be the villian? The kids, too, but the woman created the situation by leaving a car running, with the doors unlocked with what is effectively a baby in the front seat. If I had been asked to provide daycare to a disabled senior and left him in the car while I ran in to get a slurpee and the car was stolen by juveniles, guess who is getting sued. Me. Cause juveniles don't have deep pockets, and feral juveniles don't have parents who are locatable or have deep pockets. Accountability? Absolutely. Evenly, and for everyone.

Typical Deuce memory delay was engaged. I figured it out while I was dropping off the kids. I got the S3 part right away, though

Looks like a sparkly new 10D. So all that worked out? Nice pics. I like the diving Otter.

What's an S3/G3?

I'll be down the weekend before for the JFTC photo shoot, then back up here for a lawyer thing Monday, then back out Wednesday through the boogie's end. There's a neat airplane museum I'd like to make time for, and a Starbucks and a Sizzler. The Wal-Mart is a nice big one. And there's a Taco Bell. Very touristy. Perris. But they do have running water and a pool a the DZ, so no complaints.

A good freind of mine is going to retire his Reflex and replace it with a Wings. Infinity is a big number. I like Judge Wopner.

It's windy as hell out here today, Gary, don't sweat it. JP
-
All I'm saying is that even if she buys the course up front, it can take months to get through the 8 levels due to wind, etc.. After that she can knock out one a week or so until she's done. Because of high winds and bad weather I took about 13 weeks to get through the 8 levels, and did 3 levels on one weekend where the weather was good. I know she's ready to get started because she told me so herself. Jump today, for tomorrow it may be windy.

Yeah, SoCal, I'll be there with my flock on. That free FJC on Friday is a great opportunity! I'm looking forward to seeing B2 in her S3, and I'm sure I won't be able to stay anywhere near her. Got a telephoto lens, though...

What's up "Mini-Gareth"? Don't believe the hype..... Mini-G? Bwah! I've just been hearing "You're jumping a deathtrap!" and "Wouldn't have happened if they'd been jumping the superiour fit and comfort of the Wings harness and container system" that it's just reflex at this point. Cool looking though, eh?
-
They would certainly be more safe and comfortable. To Infiniti! And Beyond!
-
Get levels 1-3 done. Doing more than one jump a day while on student status can be overload. I took my ground school on April 1, and didn't get my A license until September, and I was out there every weekend. Go ahead and get started. I'll take a day off the camera wheel to teach that ground school.

Maybe. RyanAir was cheaper to Stockholm than Gothenburg (I don't have my umlaut (?) key wired-up) I have some friends in London I'd like to see before the boogie and then my family is coming out to tour England after. Probably round trip on Virgin to London and Ryan air to either G-burg or S-holm.
-
Which is why it is important to be able to do both!
-
The Diamond .5 by Royallens.com will work.
-
I'll be there jumping the superior fit and comfort of my Wings harness and container system. Edit: And my S3. Birdman Rodeo Flock, anyone?

Which airport is a better connection to Lidkoping? Goteburg or Stockholm?
