This is how I see it too... Upwind -> Full flight no risers (if you have a slow canopy and its a strong upwind it might be more efficient to use frontrisers for a better penetration) No wind -> Rears Downwind -> Rears with brakes Someone told me sometimes that you can learn to see the point in the ground where you would land with the current brake/riser -setup and wind -setup (wich will ofcourse vary depending your altitude as long with the estimated place of descent.) When u fly a canopy Forward and look at the ground there are areas that are (appearing) to moving further ahead horizontally and parts that (appear) to come closer all the time horizontally. When you find the point in between that doesnt seem to do either, that would be the point where you are heading to land. I havent much been practicing this so I cant prove this to be true but it sounds right in theory anyway.. Anyone heard of this ?

When buying a new rig after using student rigs, your new rig might feel a little stiff and tight. (at least it did for me..) Its sounds normal. Give it at least 10 jumps and see how it fits after that.. I bet u hardly even notice wearing it after you get used to the rig and the rig gets used to you...

Dont you think 1.7 dives a little faster than 1.14 ??

What are the main differences on 21cell canopy compared 27 cells ? Wich one has a steeper glide angle ? Xaos21 or Xaos27 ? Some people tend to think the 21 is better choise for a first x-braced than the 27.. What do you think ? Why ?

Are those the Pressurized pants? I dunno what you mean if they are "pressurized", but smoke pants do get pressurized by air when coutered with airflow.. Just get your self some XXXL rainpants and burn some holes in the front with a cigarette. Bind the pant legs from your feet and your hip to prevent the air getting out and ofcourse wear your legstraps under your pants in order to get some wingarea between your feet.. Thats what the bad-ass norgies do when they want to track..

Very nice Pictures... These smokepats rock !!

I do think I know what you mean.. Even if you dont succeed 100% in FF, a perfect hook just makes your day, doesnt it ? But I must admit it goes the other way also. If you end up a little high / low etc. It just sucks ass... A little bit too much sometimes.

The guy in the yellow shirt is me. I have some video footage of your 2-way swoops with vern. I also have video footage of those night-pond-swoops you guys did on new years eve. Right now im serving in the Finnish army, but as soon as I have time, I will try to send you guys some footage. Just remind me if I forget..
-
Also they improved the main D-bag. G4 has 4+1 grommets and G4.1 has 3+1 grommets. Good luck with your new rig. (though you wont be needing any since the G4 kicks ass !!)

Does your dz award you a jump ticket for referral?

When and where were you not allowed to take your rig as carryon ?
