Why? It restricts learning. Yeah.. but it helps simulating freefall. (U see I always skydive with a rig )
-
Ok thanks... So are those tunnelrigs only for your own use ? Does any tunnel have tunnelrigs available for use ? At least I would definetly wanna take a rig with me when simulating freefall..
-
Hi ! I could not find with a search.. Why is it so expensive ?
-
Anyone using a rig in the tunnel ? What kind is it ? Is it a tunnel rig or is it just your real rig with some mods ?

Looks to me he chose to chow it himself rather than crash the crowd...

I think wich ever sport you take to the extreme it will be extrteme. Example : Skiing is generally not extreme, but when talking about heli-ski in the alps it might be. Climbing is not necessarily extreme, but freeclimbing I would classify as extreme. IMO you can take any sport to the extreme.. even fishing.. So .. Skydiving isn´t necessarily extreme. Sure there are a lot of things we can do wich would turn skydiving as extreme...

If you wanna get a wide view, I think one very good position for a cameraflyer is to fly above and ahead and then dip your head under you.. This way you are able to get both vertical and horisontal dimensions... When you get more advanced you may try filming under the formation.. Being too close also has a lot to do with the chose of lens..

I second that.. I often read here how you should take advice given in the forums with a grain of salt and only listen to your instructors. Thants a good advice in general, but almost always it is forgotten to add that take the advice given by the instructor with a grain of salt also... 1on1 advice is very often subjective though it may be correct. Then again opinions / facts that are supported by more than one individual or disucussed by many here (forums) are more objective and false statements are more likely to be proven wrong..

Is the theory of wing load a part of any D license exam? Point being ?
-
Is this a troll ? or Is your profile uncorrect ? I dont understand how someone with a D licence and 8 years in the sport is asking these kind of questions.. sorry...

Is the vladiball a totally buried project or has there been some improvement ?

Sure you can take the gear without a gearbag... One guy at our DZ even did it without packing the canopy.. Here are the results !! -
Some people do use canon in skydiving. LANC is not crucial, but it is a nice bonus. I have not heard of canon products being more vulnerable than sony products. I do know one guy who has used a pretty old canon several years without having serious issues. Image stabilization is someworth different in canon cameras vs. sony. That I leave to the pros to explain.. Edit: cant spell..

I was thinking of attending the Go vertical boogie in empuria 9-15 of april 2007 Any experiences ? Is it woth going ? Looking to hear anything in general.. Do they offer Freefly organizing more than one sunset track at the end of the day ?? or is it more coaching type of boogie ? Also do I have to register ? They dont give much info on the empuria website...

I see what you mean, but I also have another point of view here. Keep in mind that skydiving is VERY expensive. And it only lasts for about 1 min. / jump. As long as you are not a millionaire and still want to make some decent challenging and fun skydiving you have to try to optimize your jumping.. Most people simply are not rich enough to go and chase someone in FF while the other one is trying to learn headup or headdown or whatever.. Giving attitude is ofcourse very different issue...

Well... I dont think this is really an important issue, but according to my limited knowledge of english I understand the following quote a little different: (please do pay attention to the bolded words) "The HDR-HC7 and HDR-HC5 allow current camcorder users to reuse their existing miniDV tapes to record videos and still images in high definition. Blue skies !
