What is a felon named that attacks the elderly?? Closest big city here is Vancouver, B.C. Canada ...we live in little community one hour away...shit is coming down here now like everywhere. Great grandma & grandpa snoozing in their home of 30 years. Grandma wakes up in the night with two shadows standing over her bed ...she quickly jabs grandpa yelling at the top of her lungs..."Jack get the gun" (they don't own a gun, grandpa didn't even awake)....the shadows disappeared fast..... their life of contentment has changed drastically. A skydiving friend just got news his grandma was in the hospital with a broken arm (purse snatcher on a bike made that one happen) ... Another elderly couple last week close by had B&E but not only stole tv and $54.00 cash/ aggravated assault....both are in hospital in serious condition. ....the sweet elderly lady on her own next door without a fear, had a phone call, and thought it was the R.C.M.P. so she made arrangements with the officer to come and collect donation from her home for local calendar. Then a car pulled up and a man came pounding at her door...she could see through her peeper that this was not a man in uniform so didn't unlatch her door...then the man ran around the back of the house pounding at her glass sliding door...she was on the phone talking with police when he smashed the window, got in the house and grabbed her wallet from her hand....shoved her down and took off. This was the deciding factor for her to move into an old folks home.....she moved in with us until that was arranged -to afraid to ever go back to her own home. There was no massive shooting, murder, rape,....no one is dead.... but the elderly people in our community have never had to be afraid for their lives before now -due to violent offenders. When your own children, parents and grandparents are being violated- you do not think about the dysfunctional offenders family upbringing......or parents having access to better education.......... Smiles

Had right shoulder problem toooo- first figured pulled muscle skydiving....did the heat treatment, deep massage therapy, stretching, physio,...then anti-inflamatories: vioxx (pain & inflam), cortizone shot,.... Wasn't till the workstation happened that I got full motion back in my shoulder without pain. First the chair cost $300 (cnd.)....I luv it, adjusted to the proper height for keyboard & mouse... The monitor is raised up at my station to the right height for my neck...what a difference!! Just use my old mouse (logitech shaped like hand with roller on top) I find using keyboard shortcuts kills alot of mouse use and time..... Anyway...look after it for sure. I ended up 1st jump of season, having the right shoulder lock completely when I came back to pull - using my left hand to shove my gear over to the right so pud reached into my right hand...SUCKED!! Smiles

O.K. I am convinced hemp seed oil is good in hair shampoo and conditioning. I'm purchasing it again-cannot believe how healthy and shiney my hair is.........called Alterna-Enzymetherapy. Formulated with ultra-hydrating hemp seed oil... Hemp Soda?? energy drink?? have to try it out, hemp crops have so much potential!! Smiles

..watched on CTV last night: Turning War games into a real thing- Childs Play - Gaza, children play out arabs & jews shoot out. Palestinians become martyr....... Post traumatic stress causes children to act out violently as have grown up with real fear, anxiety, hostility, stress. An 8 and 13 yr. old are caught in a "dare mission"- and officials shot them in the leg, arrested them. Politial violence- childs play= "I want to blow up as many Israelites as I can." I feel the drugs on our streets play a big part in violent crimes, along with environment in the home, violent tv and video games. Not just the drug addict commiting crime for want of money- but the actual effect of the drugs in the brain (speed, paranoia, aggressive-violent behavior, drug induced psychosis, mania) Smiles

(B.C. Canada) official bird, I love their crest and vibrant blue and black color. The Steller's Jay SHAACK! SHAACK! cry is a familiar sound around here, they have a mixed bag of voices that includes everything from hawk calls to warblings of others. I feed em peanuts all year and have at least a dozen who have made my yard, theirs. Tons of squirrels hang here too. Tibet (my NF retreiver) loves to try round them up, (his personal favorite to boss around is of course, ducks) Smiles

I don't wear them enough. Reminds me of Buffalo Dave (jumpin buddy)...every load he was on- he offered everyone earplugs individually wrapped. Sweetie! My son just got fitted with earplugs for his welding course at trade school. Cost $80. cnd. They are supposed to block out the loud zzz and you can hear normally otherwise. At the tiny d.z. I call my home we load our aircraft (Porter) and when seating ten- it is very- up close & personal...no problem detecting who and where farts come from, my jump buddies always announce their contributions to the ride. Who ate and drank what is detected for sure. As a lady I prefer to hold onto my deadly silent killers until freefall or canopy ride ...thanx. To each their own!! fart detector? Ladies can obstain from abominable stinking up whole aircraft while riding to altitude, why can't men?? I'll never forget being told in Coolidge (my first ride to altitude higher than 4,500ft.)...at around 10,000ft. when I asked my aff instructor about the horrible smell- he replied "oh, Arizona really stinks at this altitude"..I looked out the window and thought, polution..eeee gad...and I believed him!!!! Smiles

Hello- Today is sunny....6 degrees. At skydive Vancouver C-206, C-182 flys on weekends, our porter is tucked away in hangar and usually is flying by April.....just give d.z. an e-mail or phone to check on weather. There is 3 d.z.'s here....Pitt Meadows d.z. is closest to Vancouver, then 1/2 hr. drive to my home d.z. in Abbotsford (skydive Vancouver) and 1/2 hr. drive away is Chilliwack d.z.
