I have written into my will specific info, for my family-how I would like my death, including-if it was bouncing to be delt with..... My close skydiving family also have this info. I read post by Errol to CSPA chat in Canada regarding JFTC fatality. I then came to dz.com to look for more information, and hastily did not read Skybytch's previous post regarding the days activities at JFTC. I posted Errol's info here in talkback feeling that others would appreciate knowing there was a fatality......without having info of name of jumper or info on fatality, maybe should not of posted????? Did not expect to have condolences as reply to my post. Why was my post moved to Incidents when there was no information of fatality?? A post could have been written out of appreciation "condolences for Shannon Embry- JFTC" where everyone could reply in talkback, keeping condolences together under one ???? Then the actual incident report written under incidents...??? Maybe need a section here solely for condolences??? Smiles.

After making 1,000 skydives - cave BASE would be the closest I'd ever consider - as far as BASE jumping gos ....and after viewing this video footage. Cave in Mexico is huge inside, I think it would be almost spiritual, flying under canopy in that hole. Steve Janz ("Smiley") has made many more skydives than me, + 1,000s of tandems- excellent at accuracy- and many other BASE jumps. Smiles.

Yes the B.C. bud is truly plentiful and should be legal Then one would have to deal with Government Regulation?? There is a lot of money to be made in grow operations here in B.C. Canada. The underground business of growing marijuana has become so lucrative that brand new Luxury homes in the upscale subdivision that sell for about $600,000. cnd. are being customized and purchased for the sole purpose of housing marijuana operations. The homes are bare of carpeting or standard appliances to allow more growing room for hundreds of marijuana plants that are worth about $1,000 cnd each. These homes are purchased with the proceeds of crime, with cash made from illegal activities. The purchase and sale of the home is then also used to launder money. The homes have massive air conditioning units to deal with the high temperatures caused by heat lamps, extensive venting systems to dissipate tell-tale odours and high-capacity electrical outlets. Those in charge of inspections, say that homes with 200 amps of power capacity are the norms in new construction. That amount of power capability would allow for swimming pool pumps. The trend toward using new homes for growing operations means the business has now spread everywhere in the city and is not limited to rundown rental properties. Police say the growing operations are being controlled by members of a Vietnamese organized crime group. This group is in turn working in partnership with the Hells Angels. The Vietnamese are heavily involved as the actual growers, people tending the crops. Smiles.

Smoke crack? I respect my precious endorphins that get me high- want them to work the way they are supposed to -naturally. If I smoked crack the pleasure center in my brain would never work the same. I would not get the same rush when I skydive----using all of my bodies adrenaline on each and every jump Smiles.

B.C. Vancouver, Canada Weather has been perfect for months here- excellent summer, Sept. and Oct. blue skies, enough wind to blow out the Fraser Valley clear so Mtn. Baker can be seen! This is the first weekend with light drizzle, 17c/ cloudy with showers.... We haven't had alot of snow for many winters- has been mild with green xmas/ some snow in Jan. Smiles.

Get your education for sure, whatever it takes- I feel if your priorities are right you would go for it, live at home but skydiving would be limited during that time....to respect what your parents are offering you. As parents- we both skydive and have sons/one 23 one 18-both still living at home until their education is completed (we saved funds for both their education) As oldest is now completing his 3rd. year apprentice and becoming a journeyman- paid off his jeep- and just started skydiving!! he feels secure and is ready to move out, be responsible on his own. If he had not got his education completed now- would be welcome in his future to move back and complete his education (but not pay off a vehicle and skydive at the same time) Smiles.
