(eg, the shuttle starts descending and everyone arms their AAD, a leak in a seal evacuates the air - a not improbable scenario according to NASA - and at some point in the descent of 150 m/sec maximum 70 m/sec average the cabin is suddenly filled with activated reserves....a Cypres activates at 38 m/sec. So how would this inflight crew escape system work? when would it be used ? ....for sitting on the launch pad before solid boosters lit? or during final flare at the end of the runway??? Smiles

Emotions....love, joy, sorrow, fear, apprehension, anger, satisfaction, discontent....provide the meaning of human existance. Depression is one of the most common and most serious mental health problems facing people today. Depression can seriously interfere with your ability to function effectively......Thank god for anti-depressants, as long as they are perscribed correctly. I have found skydiving to be my anti-depressant. My mom brought up us kids on her own...as a child I remember long long periods where my mom stayed in bed 24hrs. a day except to feed us.... Drapes were always closed and our place dark. Somehow- someway - (without treatment or medication) she always came out of it. She always said, "if she didn't have us to care for- she wouldn't have anything to live for..." I came down with type 1 diabetes as a child, then diagnosed with crohn's disease, then hep c, and ostio-arthritis. Spent 10 years in and out of hospitals, chronic pain, surgery, stress, medication.... Also I have been through so many life crisis and picked myself up, carried on stronger than before. I feel the more shit you go through, the more character you develop and stronger you become. Using anti-depressants to mask the rough times, may also mask the development of strength????? When I started skydiving my whole life changed. Now I was experiencing what it feels like to be healthy...alive,...have energy.... For 15 years now, I am healthy in the summer without any symptoms of my illness, winter sucks as my health records prove. See-saw/ high-low/....or seasonal affective disorder...(SAD)...or skydive affective disorder?? Regardless, skydiving has been the most awesome medication for me!! Smiles

land near Kapowsin??.....extremely intelligent choice!! My last camp out there, the otter pilot was so sweet to invite me up to co-pilot seat, and when I mentioned Mnt. Baker....he flew past Rainier, Hood, to Baker and back on ride to altitude. We have a porter here but luv heading for Kapowsin to camp on long weekends. The d.z. location/ operators/ aircraft/skydivers/...all ROCK! Smiles

I am challenged to make the flash thingymagic as I want to design a slideshow that only the first pic is downloaded, clicky on the button...(which is written to play the next frame and stop when downloaded) I have found a tutorial to take on designing a slideshow in flash thingymagic and learned I have to dump the 3 layers I have used, and run it on one timeline....if all goes to sh*%t I will check out the free script you posted. thanx, Smiles

I am such a wuffo with this stuff... looking for info on capturing my nephew's awesome skateboard footage- (isn't digital) taken with older camcorder----- to my pc (video editing program) My (panasonic miniDV digital palmcorder) ..has cords that attach to the ieee 1394 firewire ports for digital video. (can capture from a DV camcorder to PC) We have so far recorded his footage to vcr tape, but would sure be a riot, to get this footage into my video editing program. Can digital cams input analog and record??? Can you purchase pci card that has ports to input analog??? thanx Hey, can always lend him my palmcorder to record all those tricks??or spend the afternoon trying to video them myself. ...(note to self *** buy him a tandem jump!)
