mine is a 96 and has velcro..if its (the velcro) is in good shape it shouldnt be a problem. i have got in the habit of reseating it everytime i pick it up before i put it on, but have had no issues in any FF position with mine..I really love my mirage! ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

since ill be testing soon (well if work will give me time for seriously practice) for my shodan in kendo, have been fencing since i was 15 (currently D rated but have been as high as B) and have actually been foolish enough to participate in 3 duels when i was young and immortal (2 as primary 1 as a second, and only one cut from a short parry) that probably wont be very fair.. but i'm always up for a meditation in steel.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

for 100$ not very likely..or you absolutely raped someone...quality tempered steel usually starts at around 5000 for a new blade....if your sure and your brave you should be able to slap it across the edge of a table and it will flex back..of course if its not it will snap in two.. quite a number of sword dealers have claimed there wares were real until i asked them to demostrate. at which point they began to make excuses... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
