Actually, I've done 6 CRW jumps at Perris now (and have been called a CRW pup, a CRWton, and a CRW slut) and they actually yell at everyone else, "F*** the freefallers!"

you should note that in most cases "extreme sport" is defined by what can be marketed to the younger generation as 'cool'. snowboarding, skateboarding and its varients are 'extreme' because companies can sell knock-offs in kmart to 12 year olds who wanna be Tony Hawk. this applies to the large majority of 'extreme sports' of which skydiving and skysurfing (one of the original marketing Extremes) are no longer listed or even really shown other than brief glimpses (or when something goes wrong) in the mass media. Media is marketing. if you cant sell it (or the life style associated with it) it doesnt exist. Thus the reason why i know former and current national champions that live in trailers and eat mac&cheese (or have get real jobs to support their 'hobby') while mediocre 16 year olds are given 80K and full sponsorships in the snowboarding industry ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

despite martial arts movies and some 'black belts' opinions otherwise..there is no defense against a firearm, only a faster more effective offensive action. ie another firearm..my akidio sensei was also a cop when i was stationed in FL..so he brought in some of the pink training rounds they use for swat training and we 'played' with them. guess what? unless you were already extremely close (slightly under arms length was often even to far as its easier to step back and shoot than faster than any other action) the martial artist died nearly everytime on the first shot! even when he didnt they often took the second round.. granted the shooters were also trained martial artists and knew what to expect, however it was a very enlightening (and painful those pink paint rounds hurt!) experience.. i dont like firearms, but have learned to be very good with them as a nessesity of life..i dont like any weapon that allows someone to kill in relative safety and has no real defence..give me a sword any day..however, that isnt the way the world spins...so of course i have my CCP for AZ..do i take it everywhere? of course not. but as with most things in life its better to have it and not need it than need it and wish you had one... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

both. depends on the publication, the photographer and the model..the larger mags are really bad about airbrushing..i mean polish is nice but sometimes it goes overboard..(of course no one actually 'airbrushes' photos anymore except for pleasure & artistry...digital is much cheaper.. the shower photo is lighting, you can almost count light sources in it...( i see 4..i think different methods for everyone) sometime i miss studio photography..then i remember all the money i blew (and lost ) on it and the fact i'd rather paint.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
