  1. why arent there more women like you? i'd rather be scruffy, but i get lots more attention when i'm clean shaven and clean cut.. one of the more positive changes that occured after joining the military ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  2. indeed all the time in the world in a wind tunnel wont help you track.. lots of 2 and 3 way tracking dives really helped me get to the point where i could just keep up with those guys..i'd say something like 30%-40% of my (admittedly low number) of jumps have been dedicated tracking dives.. track? absolutely!!!
  3. if the company is big enough to have a HR department have him go to them with the complaints..take the time to write out as accurately as possible the most heinous offences and take it to them..even upper level managers freak out when HR calls you to the carpet. Particularly on things like sexual harassment issues, (which some of these certainly are, although your son might not like looking at things that way. good luck. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  4. shes cute, but she shoulda paid more for the floation devices..the shape is off, WAY to obvious...i've got nothing against artificial enhancements but you think a professional model would be more picky.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  5. hmm lets add... Mike Ortiz, Craig Girard, Dustin Smith, Steve Curtis, Jason Peters, Omar Alhegelan.... all whom i've been lucky enough to chase across the AZ sky on occasion.. even though i'm taller than (an advatage in tracking since you have a larger wing) most of them (except Craig and Jason who are my height) they still leave me behind when they punch it out...proof that its all about technique technique technique... did i mention technique?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  6. definately on my list...have to add -showing up to work on time -showing up to work at all on occasion.. fortunately i'm good enough at my job that when i do show up people think i walked on water to get there ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  7. ding ding.. Quade wins..this is in simple terms EXACTLY how most basic jamming systems work..encryption or not the if the reciever cant 'hear' the signal thru all the extra noise it cant use that satellite to 'find itself' fortunately it takes a good bit of energy to create enough noise to really disrupt the signal at any significant distance and that level of emission is easily targeted if nessesary.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  8. "SkymonkeyOne-Tequila" is that the new "sport accuracy" event? lol youve just got to admire the technique of a pro.. hands and feet back..location carefully chosen so as to benefit the local fauna..rothflmao... reminds me of a college party dude vanishes early in the eve, we find him under a tree in the back yard hours later..two days later a REALLY large mushroom appears right where his head was.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  9. ohhh please, please, pleeeeeaassse, say that to my packer next time i'm in Eloy..i'll even help carry you to the ER after we find your eyes.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  10. DUDE!!!!!!!!! crazy chicks give the BEST sex! Can i get a witness? was just discussing this at Eloy..came to the conclusion that they're all psycho..and once you accept that life gets much easier
  11. ja i checked on that a while before i got out and saw that, so i changed my home of record to an uncle's place in Flagstaff and the Army paid me to move my stuff all the way from FL to AZ..
  12. there was a time when you could ID the particular unit by the salute. Mostly because the fencing instructors often had their own variants and tended to stay with a particular unit, but that was quite some time ago...i used to know 8 different 'official' US Army salutes and actually 'fixed' the Cavs when i saw them practicing one day..of course i had to 'prove' i knew what i was talking about..silly Cpt didnt want to listen to a godless contractor.. i found it really funny that not one of the people carrying a sword had ever had any real training with it...sad just sad.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  13. so does A&M have a fencing program? do they make thier cadets learn to use the swords they carry? West Point stopped doing it (ggggrrrr) and i caused quite a bit of trouble at Ft. Hood once when i showed one of the 1st Cavs commanders that the parade team really shouldnt be wearing weapons that they had no idea how to use, much less salute correctly with
  14. do i really want to know why a marine needs spurs?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

  17. ussually i'm thinking "how the hell does that relatively short little F#^ker move like that?? technique technique technique... or on big way tracking dives.. "grrr i really dont want to give up my altitude..i really wish they'd try to float a bit more....geeezzz." ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    Boone's Farm

lol yeah he came back quite different, took us almost 3 months to scrub the mind wash off..and Jeph still kept trying to talk me into going..of course then i would have had to switch MOS and go back to the 'real' army....naaahhh.. the boones farm think we could never break him of though..probably still drinks the crap... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  19. more than just that..sometimes i think i can hear the power running thru the house...all the ambient noise created by everything electric..sometimes i wonder exactly how much crap is casued by all the RF floating around us everyday..TV,Radio, microwave etc...i really noticed it when i spent 2 months wandering the blue ridge park way..coming back to civilization was way to 'loud' for a while..even in a quiet room. oopss gotta go the guys in the nice white coats with the net are at the door.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    I'm cold

mostly just the locals vanish when the winds pick up at Eloy..have to remember that with 364 jumping days theres always another day, so we tend to get a bit spoiled....plus it isnt so much the wind that turns people off, its when it suddenly stops, say right as you turn to final....ouch. and it does that alot at Eloy although it was pretty consistant during the Xmas boogie.. sooo what yous payin your man slave?? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  22. "boring sunman"? your parents have a cruel sense of humor eh? ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  23. perfect sense, i'm somewhat the same, i can only really remember songs when i'm playing them regularly..hence the embarasment in korea...struggling to remember simple stuff like "break on thru"....mostly i did production when i was playing/performing.....sometimes running the sound board and playing...a few friends still insist i come back to the east coast whenever they are recording or have a big gig...some things i'm a perfectionist about...sound is one of them... wish i could figure out a way to transition to music production full time, but that unfortunately requires lots of cash or lots of backing so... maybe sometime later... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
  24. definately liked the spectors, not as much as i like...strike that LOVE my Aria (deep green with tweeked EMGs) but still very nice basses....and i've been trying to find the right Rick for like 15 years...but never had the cash at the right time... dude, well have to get together sometime and bang out a few bars of "Big Bottom"
  25. agreed! i get called lazy on occasion, but for me it comes down to time or money? and there is always more money..time on the other hand..... of course i need to brush up pon my packing skills for the boogie times when amy is so busy she cant get me on 10 min calls like she ussually does..
