you know i'd have to disagree to a certain extent, but i would also have to say it depends on when in life they 'developed'. The women who went through youth being told how beautiful they were by any and every one tend to be the shallow, flaky types... those who 'blossomed' later have a better self worth, are more motivated and seem to be more intelligent over all, perhaps because they had to use their minds to get somewhere instead of having every male falling all over himself to give them everything... I know several women who i consider stunning.. easily super model quality (whatever that means) all have said they thought they were 'ugly ducklings' and didnt have many dates in school, but that perhaps that experience helped them to learn to rely on themselves for self worth, not on what other people told them they were ‘worth’ Is physical 'perfection' a standard? no. of course not, but it is a goal everyone should work towards. To many people simply give up, say “I don’t want to be judged by how I look”.. tough shit.. appearance is the first thing you project not matter who you are or what you do.. thousands of people will see you that will never speak to you, never know anything more about you than how you appeared that moment.. it’s a cop out to say it doesn’t matter.... but that certainly doesn’t mean you have to be paint and polish everyday..in fact more of that simply covers up how little people really care for themselves… how beautiful you are is very dependant on how beautiful you think you are, how you carry yourself and how you act towards others... there is far more to beauty than a pretty face or a flat stomach... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

it is the exact same motivation.. if Rep had more to lose by independent candidates they would be blocking them, if the majority of absentee voters voted Dem, you'd see them pushing the absentee vote as well.... nothing 'shady' about either tactic, its simply playing the system for advantage to your cause.. you can label the others side as 'shady' if you wish, but the fact is BOTH parties do whatever they legally can to insure they get the most votes... that isnt 'shady' its POLITICS. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

nothing 'shady' about it... until we have a system that guarantees equal coverage to all opponents, removing the non-contenders (unfortunately, none of them have a chance in hell) that generally 'takes' votes away from one side more than the other, is simply leveling the feild... the system is broken. offering to train, to 'give away' knowledge is not advertising. There is no return for Tom other than the personal satisfaction of knowing he is doing his part to make the sport safer, unless i'm completely mistaken Tom does not have any BASE products out he is 'pushing' by offering this course... handing out products (even free) with logos etc on them has the benefit of name recognition and product exposure and serves to promote a business rather than the cause of safer jumpers.... apples and oranges.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

So, at the risk of changing the 'real' question: Why should polygamy be illegal? Why should mariage between your father and brother be illegal? I will go so far as to say that even if it was not illegal, most would admit to finding it objectionable. And on and on... This is totally the fault of the owner....that Akita was poorly raised/trained..they can be very affectionate very social dogs. that means you over did it... like anything take it slow and work your way into it... a good trainer will help you do this at a pace natural for you... of course if your primarily concerned about seeing those abs, its aerobic you should be focused on first, although weight training will help you build muscle which in turn burns calories.... running etc.. and diet... you shouldnt be getting "cant walk sore" from aerobic activity.... "push the envelope, watch it bend" ... when you hurt that bad.. you broke it...
