Powell has been rather side lined by this administration in favor of civilian 'experts' like Rumsfeild with NO actual military experience... Bush's inability to listen to the advisors who actually have some experience in the realm they are advising him on, is one reason I can no longer support him. deathangel is still together iirc.. they changed their name to "the Organization" and put out 2 albums i think... I loved their first album, The Ultra-Violence but imo they went down while with Frolking thru the Park and Act III. The Organization didnt do much for me at all either.. I saw them open for Testament and Anthrax on their first tour...cant even recall what Testament album it was now.... DA was that good.... I think it was Spreading the Disease for Anthrax though.... hmmm that reminds me of another good reunion although i saw their last show right here in Phoenix.. that would be cool...except Chris has burnt his voice...saw him with Audioslave twice last year and he tries real hard, but he cant do the wails the way he used to... he cant even do some of the things he does on the Audioslave album live... which really sucks....because of the possible reunions that one would be high on my list.... Sabbath could reunite with Ian Gillian and do 'Born Again'. I never saw that tour, but from the bootlegs i've got it was one of the best incarnations of Sab ever....unfortunately he has the same problem as Chris...even though he took better care of his voice.... for 'dead' band members... Metallica with Cliff, most def... I'd love to see them once more and be able to recall why i liked them to begin with... but highest on my list would probably be Morphine... I got to hang out with them all the way through their last tour of the southeast, but never really had a chance to say goodbye to Mark before he died... the few times the military forced me to get a flu shot it actually made me sick for 2-3 days... so when i HAD to get on to deploy (as a civilian) and the predictable headache etc showed up a day and a half later, i called in and told them i was sick, why i was sick, and didnt come in for the rest of the week... by thursday i was feeling fairly normal, so i went and jumped thurs/fri.... that is the best side effects from the flu shot i've ever had

PM's you get from time to time? you know like the 30 or so from Holly I deleted doing some pointless 'house cleaning" a few weeks before we lost her if I'd had the folder feature then, I'd still have them all.... i keep lots of silly emails that have made me smile, but i generally keep them pretty well organized in folders so my main inbox is fairly empty....one day all the clutter of PMs annoyed me enough i cleaned out a whole lot of them....I havent done that since... with the folder system i can keep any and everything i wish to and still appease the organizational monkey.... that is worth the price alone for me, and its cheaper than a date with a pixie whatsa matter JT? its only green pieces of paper, less than that since you have to use a credit card think of the beer and slugs we would have never enjoyed without this site... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

what you seem to be missing is HE(Eminem the actual person) isnt always the one 'speaking' in every song. I.E every song is not about his life, or his personal views. All songs have a character. Sometimes that character IS the artist, but quite often it is the artist assuming a voice, a character to express a particular view (and create a reaction to it, but not necessarily one of agreement with) or make a statement. When did you know it was time to get out? waaaaay to much political BS, I still really really enjoyed my job, but as i moved up i was getting to do it less and less and spending more time dealing with stupid soldier issues that shouldnt exist. The military should be a dedicated service that people are competing to be accepted in, not a place for the bottom of the barrel to hide.... our society does not give them the respect, or the pay they deserve How did you handle the transition? easy. I had a job waiting for me, and so much accrued leave they had to pay me for, i didnt have to work for the 2 months all of the paperwork took... What were the difficult parts of leaving/entering the real world? Easy parts? you too? my uncle had to slap me on the back of the head a few times so i wasnt at attention in my sisters wedding photos... of course he was doing it to remind himself and most of the guests as well.. my grandfather joked that the uniforms would have outnumbered the party dresses if everyone (females included) who could have worn them did, and my niece had complained the year before that everyone looked so stiff in all her photos..... being raised in the military, going in wasnt that difficult at all... I didnt know "Front & Center" was a military command until my first promotion.. I thought i was in deep shit Would you go back in, given the chance? No way.. I still work with the military everyday, but they couldnt pay me enough to wear the uniform again... There are some serious, dedicated professionals in the military, and there are some 'lifers' who just couldnt cut it without the support structure the military provides... simply stealing oxygen for 15 years without being caught doesnt make you a leader, and you should not be promoted for it... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
