Since you all are having problems looking at the video that someone else posted, including me. I could not open either video either and I believe I have all the latest codecs. So... I have made my own And put it on my kick-ass server for you all to download and/or view. If you have a high-speed connect, just sit back and watch. If you are on dial-up, there is a link to download it and watch it later. The only requirement is you have Windows Media Player that supports .wmv format. Win98 and later should have no problems playing it. If it stops playing, then you probably don't have a fast connection and should save it and play it later. I can upload it to the FTP site, or Dave can rip it from me, or Sangiro and rip it from me and put it on his site...whatever works best. Or leave it on my site... So I got this gift certificate for amazon.com for my recent Birthday. Yay, I'm 30!!! Anyhow, I I really don't NEED anything from amazon.com at the moment. I do however NEED a protrack ( next on my list of skydiving equip to buy ) Is there any way of selling this gift certificate to someone or company who in turn could sell me a protrack ? Yup, that ride is called the "Drop Zone" and the drop is about 200 feet. I have been on it several times and I think it's a blast. It is NOT like skydiving, but the sensations are quite thrilling. I freak out my whuffo friends by not holding on, lifiting my legs, and looking straight down while it's dropping yelling (WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!) They are so terrified....LOL The one at Kings Dominion, I imagine by looking at it, is the same thing at Great America, just holds more people and about 70 feet more freefall. The rides and skydiving are two different things and if you look at them that way and enjoy them for those two different reasons, then there is no problem, and it is quite pleasureable [sp?]. Similar to how people compare bungee jumping to skydiving. They are quite different with different sensations and dangers. The same goes for this ride. To a whuffo, the "skydiving ride" is a great sales and marketing ploy. If anything, I think this would help the skydivng business because people will have enjoyed this ride and think that skydiving is similar. OLD ? Heh, those aren't old... I recently just completed building a MAME cocktail cabinet. You know, the type of arcade game that you see at pizza parlors, bars, etc... I will try to post pics if anyone is interested. I also had a friend send me ALL the video games that MAME supports. Currently it's over 3500. For those of you that don't know what MAME is... it's a Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. It emulates Arcade games like Mr. Do, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, and any other arcade game you can think of - foreign games and domestic ones too. You can grab a copy from www.mame.dk. Disclaimer: Owning MAME is not illegal, however using the game ROMS without the correct licensing options is.
