    Perhaps that's because they're different materials. One is square weave and the other I believe is binding tape. If you have a bridle made with square weave, it's much more rigid and packs a little thicker, the binding tape I believe isn't strong enough to resist the pin peircing. It's been a while since I did any research on it, perhaps someone could chime in with more current info.     One thing I've noticed with bikes is that under acceleration, they tilt back just enough to put the headlight right into my rear view mirror. I drive a pretty stock Z71 1500 so it's not like I'm sitting 'low'. Might be worth checking into Euro lift laws. I know of at least a few states that have very specific requirements as to maximum height of the head lights and whatnot. IIRC Euro dept of transportation are REALLY picky about their vehicles, and MANY US vehicles wouldn't be legal to drive there.     I'd venture to say many of the pilots that build their own airplanes probably don't do so just to let some computer 'gizmo' fly it for them. But what do I know?     Not really directed at Billvon: There's also the possibility of the skyhook lanyard being misrouted and potentially locking your reserve in the container. I did a version of that on my rig and it was exactly what an incident said it would be. I posted the test somewhere in G&R I believe.
