    And this know-nothing is very grateful. JerryBaumchen Same here...Ski is my go-to guy when I screw up the computer, which is rather often. Thankfully he's helpful and doesn't give me shit about my ineptitude ... Can't begin to figure how much I owe ya Ski! Y'all aren't that bad really. Mostly just explaining whats going on and how to fix it.

    I have been helped by plenty of complete strangers with code problems, and I have been fortunate enough to help several people with theirs. I actually like it, seeing how someone 'skins the cat' and comparing it with what I do. You can learn a LOT by reading other peoples code and trying to figure out where they're going with it and even why it's not working.     I've seen this before, but I believe they were Wings risers. Best I could tell they were made that way. The user was complaining of the canopy not flying completely straight.     We just grab the arm gripper. I have never done an AFF jump with a suit with no arm gripper. Occasionally The arm gripper is hidden on exit due to the student's position in the door. When that occurs, I just take the harness at the shoulder. It's above the 3 ring so it's no issue. +1, either a gripper or the shoulder harness in the yoke for me.     Honestly, I'd say don't do it. Quick question, what size reserve does that rig have? 143? That's pushing 1.3 w/l on a new canopy you only use when shit hits the fan, and it flies very different of the main. The Safire2 is a great canopy, but I highly doubt you've checked everything on that list off with the level of proficiency you have on that canopy. I could be wrong, but I'll never know. I've got ~600 jumps, weigh a little more than you and I still jump a Safire2 169, it does well and I honestly CAN put it wherever I want. I could go to a 149 and probably even a 135 not too soon afterwords, but there's no reason for me to do so.
