it's a little console app, in c# Interesting that you use an XML file for the configuration settings though. I can't try it out here, but sounds interesting. Mine is a windows based app that sits in the task bar until activated with two hot keys, pops up a window asking for a student name, and away it goes! It creates the folder structure: d:\Skydiving\Media\2011\MM-DD-YYYY\Student\Pictures d:\Skydiving\Media\2011\MM-DD-YYYY\Student\Videos Moves the media off of both of my cards simultaneously... Then it copies my Vegas template to the Student folder, and starts Vegas... Opens explorer windows for both the pictures and video files so I can drag and drop the pictures, hit burn, drag the video files to vegas and edit. It won't fit/look right. It would probably make it slightly easier to bag the canopy, and harder to close the container. Try having some experienced packers/jumpers/riggers show you some techniques for packing. I know that made a HUGE difference in my ability to get my slick canopy in the bag on my Mirage. Not going to lie, the take off was easy enough, the landing however, well... the view I saw out of that 172 when he flared it... not exactly a warm fuzzy feeling. What kind of flare was it? 1-step, 2-step, 3-step? Hit and roll, eh? BTW, your accuracy skills will come in very handy! All I remember about the flare was, this doesn't feel right, and it felt like we were flaring way too high, but he seemed to know what he was doing, so I let him handle it. I did a discovery flight with this instructor, very nice guy and seems to be on the ball when it comes to teaching flight. Being a skydiver probably will help me out for the flight part... the landing however... well... I still dont know about that.
