    How do you import and file your media from a jump? A camera guy showed me his technique that works well, and I somewhat adapted it so that all of my media is filed 2011\(MM-DD-YYYY)\Student_Name\ (pictures/video folders) I wrote a program to auto import my footage/stills into these folders and off my memory cards. Works well for me, but what works for you?     You say it stops working after 2-3 edits? Have you tried closing it after an edit to see if that gets rid of the issue? Sounds like it could be a heat issue though... most laptops aren't known for running cool, and I doubt an i7 laptop would run very cool to begin with.
