Things that are so important to your daily life... (yeah, right)

Or putting it in the freezer about 30 minutes before you start slicing and dicing. ___________________________________ Hadn't heard of that one... less messy than under cold water! -

Quote5. Susan Lucci is the daughter of Phyllis Diller. "Although their ages don't preclude their being mother and daughter, Phyllis Diller and Susan Lucci are not related. Phyllis Driver was born in Ohio in 1917 and married Sherwood Diller in 1939; they had five children together before divorcing in 1965, none of whom was Susan Lucci (who was born in New York in 1946). ________________________________ Susan Lucci, has also been nominated for more Emmy Awards and never won. Quote30. Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying! Is that really true?? ______________________________ Peeling an onion under cold running tap water will keep the tears away. Chuck -
I had, Cellular One and switched to Cingular. Cingular offered a better deal at a lower rate. Got a free phone that does everything but wash dishes and roll-over minutes, nationwide long distance and etc. The only time I've had trouble is, when I'm working cattle and the mountains get in the way of the tower and I don't have service.

I've searched the resources I have including, Sunpath's web-site and can only find a diagram in the back of the Javelin Owner's Manual. That diagram shows what riggerrob described. As for placement of the 'box' and routing of cables and attachment of the sensor, I find nothing. I would suggest contacting Sunpath Products in regard to your question. Chuck

Pretty much, one of the reasons I gave-up jumping. that and the fact, the only place I can afford to jump is a 'local' one-cessna DZ. Got tired of getting 'bumped' because a tandem customer just walked through the door... then another... I can't afford to travel to other DZ's. I thought a 'hiatus' would work. That was a little over 2-yrs. ago. Chuck

The first jumpers were ... (basically) B.A.S.E. jumpers. The first known, a Parisian, died in his first attempt. Jumps, were made from buildings. Odd, how history repeats itself. Since 911, ideas are floating around for the use of parachutes to exit tall buildings in the event of some disaster.

Quote1. You know what an english racer is... 2. You remember when the song used to fade out so the track could change... 3. You know what "3 on the tree" means... 4. If only you'd kept your first car... 5. Your Mom used to send you to the store to get her smokes... 6. Banana bikes... 7. Your main had a "diaper"... 8. Wrist rockets... 9. You remember when radial tires were all the rage... 10. You had to double the dollar amount shown on the pump because they were'nt designed for gas over $1 a gallon ____________________________ Shore do remember, all of the above and a lot more! I had a Schwinn Traveler, 3-speed! Drove (sneaked it) my sisters pontiac with 3-on the tree when she was gone one day! Had a paper route and I remember 25-cent a gallon gas, too I don't feel a damned bit old, though. Just some mornings. Chuck

A friend of mine told me about dz.com. His knowing that I like to stay-up with things pertaining to rigging and skydiving, thought it might be helpful... which it has been. I got to reading different topics and really got to enjoying the folks and topics in the bonfire. Never did check-out rec.com. This is too good of a place to pass up. Thenks for letting me visit.

Grue - noun _______________________________ I don't know, if that's true or not. I've never heard of one. After what you wrote, I damn sure don't wanna run across one! Sounds like one nasty sumbitch! Chuck

QuoteI bought canopies yesterday for my container that has been laying in my closet for over a year! I bought a new sbare2 150 and a pd126r...Im so excited!!!! Today will be the last day I will rent gear!!!! woo hoo!!!! ( this was big big thing for me, cuz I have a really hard time spending money on myself...) _______________________________________ That, is just too cool! I'll bet, that little ol' container, that's been stuck in your closet feels a lot better too! Now, go out there and jump the hell out of it! Chuck

QuoteI just bought a Used '93 Javelin TJ. I see on the Sunpath website that the recommended reserve size is 126-135. The card shows that the previous owner had a 150 raven in it. From your experience, which pd size should I put in the rig for best fit? PD126 or PD143? Just looking for opinions. ______________________________ According to your profile, you're a Senior Rigger. I would suggest, following Sunpath Products recommendations. Different reserves, will pack-up differently. PD reserves, tend to pack-up a 'bit bigger' than say, a Smart reserve. Chuck

QuoteLast week, I was taking a nap with my son (all 8 months of him). Something woke me up, and I opened my eyes to see a big wide mouth and mass of slobber coming down on my cheek while hearing the distinctive sound of his voice. Yeah, he wanted daddy to play with him. After I wiped the slobber off, I spent the rest of that evening a happy camper. ______________________________________ _ Ain't nothin' like it in the world! I had two boys who when they were little would crawl up on the couch when I was napping. Best naps I've ever had. My youngest, would knee-drop me in the jewels on occasion. I swear, he ended the dynasty! Chuck
