    I took Obama's statement as a plea to the idiots marching in the streets to come up with a constructive way to "honor" Martin, not as endorsing the idea that he should be honored. It's tough to come up with a sound bite that will reach your intended audience, and not get picked apart by the haters. The girl said clearly what was and wasn't ok. When things progressed, she should have insisted, but the guy should also not have kept pushing without a clearer indication that she had changed her mind. Like Billvon said - it's a gray area. And assuming things is not a great way to go. Men are not mind readers, so women need to speak up. And men should give women an opportunity to do so as well. ...and men should realize that when a woman says 'NO' she means "NO'... not yes. That's the time to back-off. Chuck

    Was the trial so much about 'stand your ground' or 'self defense'. The media made a big deal about 'stand your ground' but the Zimmerman case, to me, didn't fit the 'stand your ground' law. Doesn't Zimmerman hold a CHL? Just because an Hispanic was acquitted, the big name Black racists, ala Al Sharpton, don't like it and are looking for another way to get Zimmerman. What a crock Chuck

    I was going to mention... that Prada display has been shot up, rocks thrown through the glass and I don't know what all. Eventually, someone comes along and fixes it and puts the shoes back in place. It has had a lot of abuse. One time, someone took out all the shoes and replaced them with old beer cans, bottles and whiskey bottles. The shoes were all piled-up behind the display case. Chuck

    Absolutely. He's sure not going to have an easy time of it. Those men were out here last year fighting a wildfire. The end result was not a single life or structure was lost. I had the opportunity to visit with some of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots and all I can say is, they were quite impressive. My prayers to their families. Chuck
