...and a helluva lot cheaper, too! Need to let 'em get real rusty. Chuck

I hope, you're right. I'd like to see my tax dollars go to something better than that little shit's sex change. I think, the kid is about a brick shy of a full load. Chuck

88-year-old WWII vet beaten to death outside his lodge
masterrig replied to Lefty's topic in Speakers Corner
Do you have stats that the rest of us do not have access to? Perhaps you can cite your source that shows Black on White crime is up after the GZ trial. But I know you don't have facts, You guys have nothing to sell but fear. No one has that data. I'm only expressing my concern. YMMV. We all know the press/media is going to push it till the life is gone from the story then, move-on to the next 'big thing'. They're like a bunch of rabble rousers. Chuck http://youtu.be/9gSQg1i_q2g :) and if he had a gun maybe we would have had two less thugs to warehouse for the rest of their lives Then too... maybe not. The man was 88-yrs. old. Pretty easy victim, I would guess. Chuck -

I went back and re-read what he posted and I agree with the idea of doing something to get kids out of gangs and into worthwhile projects. I agree with the idea that we waste countless billions on countries who just want the money. That's all. I hope I haven't strayed off the righteous path!? Chuck -

#1!! I couldn't agree more. Keep them busy and I don't mean with video games. I compare kids to horses. Horses need a job! As do kids. Ignore them and they get bored and restless. There are a lot of things kids could do that would be beneficial to society. Jailing them or putting them in the hands of some shrink isn't he answer. Ignoring them is worse. Possibly, opening opportunities helping highway depts. as mechanic's helpers, give them a flag to direct traffic in construction zones, help park crews, and etc. Businesses could get involved and open up opportunities. Opportunities in agriculture, beyond picking tomatoes. There are loads of ideas but to ignore them is just going to lead them to gangs and prison. I'm not saying to 'take care of them' but rather give them something worthwhile to do and give them a chance to gain self worth. Right now, gangs have the upper hand. Just a thought. Chuck -
The prison could put him in segregation. Usually used to control prison gangs but it would keep his ass safe. (No pun intended) Chuck

Man... I work in a 'luxury' downtown condo as head of security, and let me tell you what you say is soooo true. Some of these people could not find their own asses without paying someone to help them. I mean, don't get me wrong.. many of them are very nice people. Just.. clueless, helpless, and rather self-entitled. My GF grew up as a refugee from Poland in a refugee camp in Italy... she learned to take care of herself quickly. I grew up a latch-key kid... raised by a single mother who was working 16 hours a day. Had to learn to take care of myself. I know people who have had similar, or even worse stories. Yet these bad stories often lead to pretty decent, self-reliant people. I can really appreciate what you have said. Those 'entitlement' folks are boring. I was raised-up to depend on myself. Sure, there have been times when I've had to ask for help but never got someone to do it for me. Being raised in the country, you learn self reliance and don't count on the government or anyone else to bail you out. Chuck
-
Why didn't I think of that? What I'd like to know is, where is the 'common sense'? Seems to me that so many are so self absorbed they have lost sight of reality. Too many folks want to be 'taken care of' and lack self reliance. Heck, we've had earthquakes here in West Texas and china got rattled on shelves and a lot of comments were made but life went on. No one cried to the governor! Chuck
-
All this reminds me of a news story I saw last year. An earthquake had happened in Oklahoma. A news reporter was interviewing a woman who had moved there from California, The woman was obviously angry because her home had received damage from the quake. She told the interviewer that she wanted the governor of Oklahoma to do something about earthquakes there! She said that she had moved to Oklahoma to get away from the quakes and tremors of California, Chuck

A few years ago I read an article about prisoners in the California prison system going to the head of the line for an organ transplant. Rob a 7-11 & get a new heart. It was based upon a ruling by the California Supreme Court. C'est la vie, JerryBaumchen PS) My money says he gets the change & ends up in the women's military prison; time will tell. Also, I heard that the ACLU is supporting him on this. Thanks for that, Jerry! From all I'm reading on this subject, it seems as though, we would get better health care if we were inmates! That just strikes me as wrong. I can understand 'reasonable' care for prisoners but I just have a hard time with their getting sex changes or hormone treatment. It just doesn't make sense. I think Manning found this out and sees it as a way of getting what he wants on our dollar. Dumb... like a fox. Chuck
-
Giving into these whack-jobs and pacifying them is bull-shit! It's prison for crying out loud. Now, they all want their privileges, not rights, privileges. Chuck
-
I think the whole thing is a load of crap. It's my opinion that he's scared to death of going to a men's prison and figures he'd do better in a woman's prison, so he comes up with this brainstorm. His attorney said he would 'work hard' to get the little weasel his wish. The way I see it, he committed the crime as a 'man' let him serve his sentence as a 'man'. I really resent seeing our tax dollars going to make him more comfortable. Chuck

Thank you sir .. How's it going? Goin' good, here! Any better and I couldn't stand it! Sounds like things are going your way!? Chuck

Suspect's family wants DNA test on Hannah Anderson
masterrig replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
Unless I missed it, I didn't see where they were willing to pay for a DNA test. Also, if the 8-yr. old was his and he killed him, why did he spare the girl? There's too many questions to be asked in this case. Chuck -
It's about time you showed back up here! I was fixin' to form a search party! good to see ya'! Chuck

I noticed the mis-spelling also. You may be on to something. As for the letter writer, that is one sick, sorry, son of a bitch. Chuck

Sen. Cruz releases birth info amid talk of 2016 run
masterrig replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
McCain was a terrible choice, but no where near the edge. He was born on a military post. ***I can't see how anyone who fought on the birther side can possibly allow Cruz to even consider running. I can't wait to see those that told the birthers to shut up about it suddenly care about the issue now that it is Cruz and not Obama. For the record, most of you on here try to claim I am a birther. Because I did support asking to see Obama's BC (as anyone running for President should be required to provide, IMO). But once that was provided it was a done deal. Tell Donald Trump that! Chuck
