I would have to dis-agree! Sure, riggers like to do favors and 'nice' things for their fellow skydivers but, a thorough inspection takes time and work. A rigger's time is worth something and gratuities are ALWAYS welcome. At least the 'offer' of a gratuity is welcome and respectful. Riggers are not always in it out of the goodness of their hearts. They worked hard for that certificate and to be taken for granted is kinda' like a slap in the face. Just my thoughts. Chuck

My instructor who I worked under for my Senior ticket, gave me his link separator he had gotten through Para-Gear. Neat little gadget and simple to use. Chuck

You may be a genius What a game! I don't know about the genius part but ... what a game!! Holy cow! Just wanted to add... This is the result of 'parity' and the 'salary cap' in the new NHL. It's anyone's game. In a way, I like it. Dynasties in any sport seems boring. Chuck

How long before you considered yourself a nom-smoker?

I agree with you. My wife and I quit smoking on the same day, 16 yrs. ago. I quit drinking that same day. We both get occasional cravings for a cigarette but don't give-in. As for the drinking, I get cravings for Jack Daniels... my drink of choice was beer. To me, cigarettes are addictive, just like booze. My body thanks me every day for quitting. It's difficult to quit but as time goes on it gets a little easier. Chuck -
Ding, ding, ding... we have a winner!! Chuck

I live in the Marfa area and to me, what some call 'art'. is really questionable. When I first passed the Chinati foundation, I thought the display of concrete was septic tanks. A similar display of huge aluminum cubes inside an old hangar is beyond me. There's enough aluminum in that place to build a B-52. A stack of old hub-caps in someone's front yard is not art... to me. Marfa used to be a good little ol' town till the artists and Hollywood discovered it. Chuck

Gary Bettman feels the same way! So does NBC. There's not a lot of money can be made with a 'sweep' series. Chuck

If I am not mistaken, 1979 ... Montreal vs NY Rangers. Thanks! If I recall correctly, Montreal won!? Chuck

If, things go right, the Stanley Cup finals could be played by two Original Six teams. How long has it been since that has happened? Chuck

You got that right! Chuck

In watching the Blackhawks play it looks like they have too many men on the ice. Chuck

The Kings are fixin' to get de-throned! They get to Chicago and the fans up there and it'll all be over but the tears. Chuck

Americans favor Obama to defend against space aliens

This seems a slim change, butt considering that Mars is only one planet, and there's probably a gazillion planets in the universe, it's only a matter of time before they come. Why, would intelligent life want to come to our planet? Unless, they're looking for a good laugh! Chuck Well, considering the type of people they seem to visit. . . Lots of fun in those people sleeping in metal houses with tires. I know that's right! Chuck I'm buying an Airstream International. . .I really want to meet Mr. Spock. Impressive! Chuck I want an Eagle 5 Nuttin' wrong with that! Chuck -
There's a few Red Wings who can attest to it. It's not just the younger players falling for it, either. Chuck

Ya know Chuck... I had a thought while watching some highlights last night that HOLY SHIT.. its summer... WHY the hell are we still seeing a WINTER Sport on TV... Thanks to NHL expansions. I recall a time when the Stanley Cup Play-offs were in early April. That was just about time for the Spring thaw. Chuck

I've noticed a pattern with the Blackhawks... they have a way of getting their opponent to commit penalties. They did it with the Wings and before them. I think the key to beating the Blackhawks is to stay out of the 'box'. Chuck

Anyone who has ever done/attempted a hoop dive noticed that right off. It's gigantic. Obviously, they didn't factor in real world Whack-a-hoop physics. Obviously. Chuck

The pack on the figure's back looks like a mini casket! Chuck

Great! 1-down, 3 to go! Since the Wings are out of the play-offs, I'm goin' with the Blackhawks. I'm stickin' with 'original 6'. Chuck

I think it's the school admins and teachers realizing that now is the time, in this screwball weapons panic, to get back at all those little monsters that gave them all grey hair. Chuck
