Exactly! Have a cigar mate. I was actually, smartin' off. Thank you though, for the kind gesture.

Associated Press Writer – Sun Jun 28, 12:26 pm ET PHOENIX – There was a time in the Wild West that cowboys had to check their guns before they could pull up a bar stool for a drink — rules that protected against the saloon gunfights that came to define the frontier era in places like Arizona. What is interesting about this is, more gun carriers 'hid' their guns and carried smaller weapons. In pockets, up their sleeves, in their boots and etc. In fact, at the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral, the Earps hid their pistols under their coats as well as the shotguns they carried. Even though this recent bill passed, bar owners still, reserve the right to post a sign saying 'No Guns'. As was brought-out earlier in this thread, those who hold a Concealed Carry permit are held to a higher standard and more than likely would not carry in a bar. If, they do, I feel confident they would stay sober. As stated in the article you provided, I agree that this law could be of help. Especially to law enforcement. I tend to agree with this law. Chuck

Why can't people just work for what they want?
masterrig replied to turtlespeed's topic in Speakers Corner
It's been a lot of years since I had to apply for a job and I just wasn't that aware of the modern way. I appreciate your pointing that out to me. Chuck -

O.K., I can see that. Chuck -

Whatever happened to the time when, a person looking for a job, cleaned himself/herself up and met with a potential employer face to face? Pounding the pavement has turned to pounding the computer key-board. Chuck -

Too much pressure? (Palin to resign as Gov. of Alaska)
masterrig replied to BikerBabe's topic in Speakers Corner
I've heard Tina Fey is leaving 30 Rock, so the show made Palin an offer she could not refuse. ...and who, will know the difference! Chuck -
Aw, shucks! Chuck

I didn't like it from Mr. Hockey, either. It happens... it's part of the game. who, says I have to 'like' it? Chuck

Picky-picky! Dayum! A good lookin' naked girl brings in a pony keg... I don't care how tired I am... I'd tap it if I had to! Chuck

That's a true story. I think the one thing that proved that out was when Datsyuk dumped Chara in the corner during the regular season. Kinda' 'rounded-out' his play. I just don't care for a player who is continually guilty of 'dirty' hits. I know, they happen all the time but, that doesn't make it right. Chuck

I understand all that. I just don't like him. Chuck

Oops... my bad. I'm referring to 'our' biscuits. Made from flour, milk, baking powder a little shortening and some salt. Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch or a little thicker. Use a cutter (round) to cut each biscuit out with. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 450-deg., 12 - 13 minutes or till golden brown. they rise-up to about two inches or better. serve with butter, honey, jelly... Chuck

Thick sliced and just fried till it's 'floppy'. Pull the bacon from the fat and drop-in a couple of eggs. A little course-ground black pepper. Splash the hot bacon grease over the eggs, using a spoon till the whites are done and the yelows aren't. Serve with hash browns and some salsa on the side or fresh sliced tomatoes and biscuits. That'll get ya' goin'! Chuck

Looks like Philly is going 'retro'! Pronger should be banned from the NHL! Him and Donald Brashear, just to name a couple who are just goons. Price is going to get a 'crash course', all right! The Wings are bringing-up Howard from Grand Rapids but, he's played a few NHL games and is only 2nd. to Ozzie. Price is either damned good or Montreal has no other choice. Idon't know... Looks to me like, Chicago is really trying to be a contender. The 'salary cap' has really changed things up and levelled-out the playing field. Isn't that Bettman's grand plan'? We may not see a three-peat of Wings-Pens, next Spring. Chuck Chuck

Ya' got me! Montreal must have high hopes!? The East ain't that big and bad... only when they meet a totally worn-out Western Division team. I agree! Hossa might be a good player but, I don't see a Cup in his future. Chuck
-
I agree... 12-yrs. is nuts! Now, the Wings have something to spend on some up and comers... like Abdelkader! Chuck

That could, really help Calgary. They've been so close, so many times to being real contenders... this may just help them more. Chuck

Hossa did great during the regular season. During the play-offs, I wonder if, the fact that Datsyuk and Lidstrom were injured and the fact he felt strongly about winning The Cup with Detroit didn't put too much pressure on himself? Then too, what happened to him with Pittsburgh in the 2008 finals? I think, he just folds during the play-offs. Maybe, he'll do better with Chicago!? Chuck

When your girlfriend uses your favorite shirt as a splooge rag....
masterrig replied to dorkboy's topic in The Bonfire
No big deal! Wash your 'T'-shirt with the rest of your clothes... cold water... mild detergent. You shot a little low, for hair gel! Chuck -
Thanks for passing that on to me! I'm beginning to wonder about Hossa... is it The Cup or money? Could it be, Hossa's agent wants more money? The cap kinda' wrecked Detroit's hopes for keeping Hossa. Detroit didn't plan on keeping Kopecky or Conklin. they're bringing-up Howard. Also, Detroit has some young guys who can fill the void. Chuck

Some 'tater salad, red beans and maybe some cole slaw on the side... You bet!
