  1. Neither do I, but there are a lot of sick f*cks around. I get the feeling some of these guys needed to have the body go on tour around the country.. so they could look at it in person.. and maybe get to stick their grimy little fingers in the bullet hole.. just to make sure. Strange way of getting closure! Chuck
  2. They could do like they did in the Old West... Put him in a coffin and lean the coffin against the wall of the undertaker's like they did with outlaws in that era. I guess, I just don't understand the morbid curiosity to see a dead body with half of his head blown-off. This is one time I'll take our government's word for it. Chuck
  3. Holy slap-shot! The Wings have awakened! Lidstrom has 2-goals making it 3-0. One more and he'll show-up that Shark player from the other night. If, the Wings can only keep it up and hang-on to the lead. I'd just hate to see them swept. How 'bout them Wings! They might go down but they'll go down hard! Sharks are going to have to work at it! Chuck
  4. Well, don't leave us in the dark... whaddya been up to? How's the little one doing? Growin' like a weed, I'm sure. Chuck
  5. Last year, through all of the play-offs, there was a total of 16 over-times! This over-time makes 20 and the play-offs aren't even half over! That's what you get with parity. Chuck
  6. Yes, I did see the re-play and yes, it was a bit of a horse-shit call. No different than some of the calls and non-calls in this series. Maybe, they should take one dollar from each ticket sold for every hockey game and get all the refs some good glasses!!! The officiating really makes the game frustrating! I'd sure like to see the Wings make a series of it. GO WINGS!! Chuck
  7. ...and who do the Lightening have as their GM? Steve Yzerman! Chuck
  8. Well... I sure learned something! In watching the Wings-Sharks game, Mickey Redmond pointed-out that; "The refs could've called an un-sportsmanlike penalty but for some reason, didn't!" I also read where the Sharks coach thought his players 'showering' Howard were 'being juvenile'. Anyhow, tonight's game is a real nail-biter! Go Wings! Chuck
  9. I was told also, by a DPRE that the FAA would not accept a stampedsignature. The reasoning was the old story... 'What if, someone steals your stamp?' I like the idea of numbering pack jobs. Chuck
  10. I've always made weight-belts using para-pak and 3/4" trim tape, high quality webbing and buckles. I wanted them to last for a long time and serve the jumper the best I could. You don't just slap them together. It takes time to make a quality weight belt. Also, why shouldn't a seamstress get the same kind of money for her work as a rigger. Most seamstresses do very high quality work and should recieve due compensation. A rigger though, would more than likely have a much better idea of what needs to be done. Trymaking one yourself and see how you feel when you're done. Chuck
  11. I always put a 'due date' on the packing data card as well as a bright colored sticker on the reserve handle with the due date. The reason for the sticker was for those who didn't check the data card very often. Chuck
  12. So true. Shame to attach the name of one of the greatest and most righteous American Indians who had ever lived. Geronimo fought the good fight and did what was right. I'd much rather they attached "pig shit" to Bin Laden. http://www.legendsofamerica.com/na-geronimo.html There ya' go! Chuck
  13. Shouldn't it be 'docu'? Chuck
  14. We could send him cigarettes at Leavenworth!? Chuck
  15. Geronimo was so great, Bin Laden would have to stand on his mother's shoulder just to kiss Geronimo's ass! Chuck
  16. Good call! Ya' gotta watch your bee-hind! Chuck
  17. oh now, the CANADIANS are coming! Terrorists could come from anywhere. What they are counting on is our complacency. I hope, the Canadians aren't that mad at us!? Chuck Chuck
  18. I like this idea. Saves on jail costs and transportation costs and allows the agents to have some spook fun. Everybody wins! Everybody wins, except for border security and dangerous felon apprehension. Other than that, sure, why not just scare them away? Sure we saw them tonight, let's scare the back and let them cross again tomorrow. No reason to see if they're smuggling drugs or guns, or to see if they're wanted for serious crimes. ...and now that binLaden is dead, Border Patrol needs to stop EVERYONE coming across the border. Both North and South borders as well as our coastline. Things could get ugly. Those folks are going to want vengeance!! Chuck
  19. I know enough to say what I said and mean it. Added: That is a very bold statment of yours. It's not a statement - it's a question. Care to answer? Look. There are many, many, many wonderful things about America. There are many, many, many good Americans. Let's just be honest and say that to promote peace right after killing 4 people is hypocritical. You don't have to agree with me, but what I'm saying is that this act - a violent one - is NOT the solution, in my opinion. Also, in my opinion, it will take A LOT more than the removal of one person for real progress to occur. And finally, again, in my opinion, The West is part of the problem. To ignore this, I believe, is to carry on on the path of violence. Edit - format. I suppose we COULD hope that the removal of the most rabid of our enemies who declared war on us might allow those with cooler heads to come forward to promote peace.. but I highly doubt it based on how many of those people have trained at Madrassas and have received their schooling from the Salafist fundamentalists with the convert or DIE mantra on their jihaddi lips. Now that Bin-Hidin' is dead, at U.S. hands, I wonder how long it will be before the bombings and all that begin? Those folks aren't going to take this lying down. Just because he's gone, doesn't mean someone just like him won't pop-up. I'm thinking, this could get real messy. Chuck
  20. I've been thinking about the snow shower on Howard thing. The bottom line is, the Sharks are trying to and doing a good job of getting under the Wings skin. The snow shower thing is really amaturish, the refs could stop it but they won't and it's working. What the Wings really need to do is return the favor to Niemi. For some reason though, when the Wings do it, it comes back to bite them in the butt. There was a time when, if a player gave a snow shower to a goalie, 5-players saw to it he didn't return to the game! The Wings just need to get angry, protect their goalie and keep the puck in the Sharks zone. The Wings are known throughout the League as 'soft'. They need to get tough and get under the Sharks skin. Play their game and put them on their heels. Otherwise, this series will be over after two more games. As for the officiating... it stinks! If, a coach says anything about it, they get fined. There was one non call when one of the Wings was getting off the ice and was in the gate of the bench when one of the Sharks slammed into him... no call! Just things like that. They aren't calling the obvious penalties but are calling things that are border-line at best. The refs are BS! Throughout the League. We can thank Bettman for that! That's another story. The whole situation is frustrating and aggrivating and it's hurting the game. Chuck
  21. You got that right! ...or Mike Vernon! Chuck
  22. The Sharks were trying (successful too!) to get under Detroit's skin. You're absolutely correct, a 'snow shower' on the goalie does nothing more than piss them off. Not a penalty at all. Remember Patrick Roy? He had some rather violent reactions to snow showers! In the last game, Howard hit Pavelski and he just reacted and gave him what he was looking for. Probably, not enough to hurt him, with a helmet on. Snow showers go back to probably, the very first hockey game. I'd sure like to see Detroit come-back when they get back to Detroit. Are you aware of Detroit's 'at home' record this past season? It's not good! Then too, it is the play-offs and anything can happen. Chuck
  23. Detroit has lost their cohesiveness. They are once again, playing sloppy and putting it all on Howard. Detroit better get it together real quick or they'll see a repeat of last year. As for the officiating, they either need to go back to school and get some glasses or get someone in there who can do the job. It's not just in this series, it's been going on since the first puck drob back in October... throughout the League. We're not the only one's complaining. The League really needs to clamp-down this coming off-season. Looks like your guys got this one, too. There's no way, Detroit can score 2-goals in less than 17-minutes, against these guys. If, Detroit doesn't shape-up soon, I can see a San Jose sweep! Chuck
  24. Glad to know, you're enjoying the game! Exciting, isn't it. Chuck
