I have been looking! Now I'm asking for opinions I think he was trying to bring attention to the fact that there is no 'e' in monitors. And I'm a drop out! Shit. Yeah I dont want to get him the GPS or footpad types, just one that monitors heartrate (duh), a calorie estimator (know it's not perfectly accurate, but he likes having a basic idea... it's actually what gave me the idea for this gift), and a stopwatch. And look fairly normal, which doesnt seem to be a problem. I will check out all the suggestions posted! Thanks everyone

+1 +2 BUTT, visit any wal-mart (or large office building anymore) and you will realize that skinny jeans are doing much more harm than good. They have to go! PSSSH. No way in hell Im giving up my skinny jeans! However, I dont do the leggings/spandex thing. I agreed that "they are for some..." and you might very well FIT into that group...But, if you tack on 30 lbs or get preggers you might want to hang them up. Are you kidding? I'll be even schmexier once I gain some weight Like - that weight you get from having a baby? Congratulations by the way. Youve been talking to theonlyski havent you? They do have a selection of monitors with the chest strap from what I've seen. I think it's just going to be a matter of making a decision. I will probably go with Polar though. My husband and I have problems with losing Timexs for some reason (all the other brands make it, just not Timex).

I bet that one works great, but from what I hear pacemakers do not like Blackhawks. I'm sure my dear husband would not be happy with my gift if it put him out of work ... Ok, so I found the old threads on it. And Polar seems to be the brand most recommended... However which one is YOUR favorite?? And does anyone use a Timex HRM? There are so many options, and it's hard to pick when I'm buying as a gift. Anyone have one with a stopwatch? Better yet is a stopwatch super important? Seems most of the polar brand ones do not. Thanks for the help!

Perhaps mammals are not appropriate companions for you, then. Perhaps a goldfish? My beta fish died after a year, I was a terrible fish mother. Patrick wants a dog. I think he needs to get out of the army before that happens... If I could kill off a fish in a year, imagine what might happen to a dog while he's deployed

I think it's socio-economic more than anything else. Cocaine- your lawyer gets you rehab. Crack- your public defender gets you 3-5 years on a plea bargain. as far as i know there is a small chemical difference aswell between coke and crack also that study is about two years old and it was weighted to take into account more or less users the guy who commisioed was subsequently fired when he recommended the declassification of lsd as a result of the findings of this very study i believe there is a much longer article explaining each drug in detail if anyone cares Cool. When I visit my cousins in WA in the summer, they're usually wearing shorts and a t-shirt while I'm wearing pants, a shirt and a jacket. And, there's no way I'm going in that freezing water you have out there, not even in the summer! It's 46 degrees here right now! Its 26, with frost on the ground... Don't wanna hear it! 37 degrees and hour ago with a freeze warning for the night. What good is living in Lower Alabama when it is still getting cold as hell? Patrick and I are afraid to turn on the heater. We live in an old apartment, and the A/C smelled a bit funny. Very afraid of how the heater will end up smelling
