Okay for clarification sake: A) the first comment about jari teaching was a joke, sorry my sense of humor is sometimes off - in all reality i don't know what is planned for the X-Mas boogie, i know i'm psyched about the DZ & the boogie as well as the major flocking and the people i'll meet B) The comment to SM1 asking what he was teaching was simply an inquiry to SM1 as to what he would be teaching, i wasn't "calling" him on his teaching abilities as I have flown with him and know that monkey can fly.. i have the upmost respect for the flying monkey. Since i do primarly birdman related stuff i'm always intrigued as to what people can contribute to the sport.. always willing to learn and teach when I can. Fly-on.

Why yes, you are. I have jumped a vengance a few time, less than 15 jumps on one but i've talked to other people who jump vengances and the openings seem to be inconsistent.. some vengances open good others open good half the time.. i think blair700 jumps a vengance with his wingsuit. I'd say you're asking for a cutaway. I hear the sabre2s are a good canopy to go with

Uh they've already done that once, i had mine replaced a while back.. for "SLO" inot sure what it was supposed to fix, but it was supposed to be birdman specific. I borrowed a 2nd protrak had one on my goggles and one on my foot.

I've done rodeos on my s3 where i was totally punched out as much as I could go and i was doing 115 or so..

The only wind tunnel that would work is one for aircraft testing.. a vertical wind tunnel will just throw you up against the wall over and over again (it's been attempted, even with people hanging on, etc)

Okay this is getting aggriviating, 2 or 3 jumps this past weekend i took it out far and was maxing the suit out the whole time.. on EVERY JUMP the protraks read that i deployed around 18 - 22 seconds out the door.. One was in my shoe one was on my goggles.. when i fly dirty everything is kosher.. any idea what is going on here? Anyone know how slow you have to go to fool the protrak into thinking you deployed? (these are the "wingsuit" protraks in slo mode) Kevin

I've been talking to people down the street at Alti II and they have no idea what I'm talking about when I ask about the "birdman specific" neptune! Maybe I'm talking to the wrong people there? It's not a big place, lol. Can you please confirm your sources and what exactly this specific neptune will entail?? The regular neptune already records unlimited freefall time and is perfect for wingsuit flying. Please confirm this stuff, I'm really curious to know and would like to ask about it again at Alti II if I get a good reply here:) PS, Manbird - I have no problems maxing my suit as well ... I don't know why it's taking so much "strength" to get your suit maxed, but I'm reaching in the 30s according to the protrack, and usually, it shows deployment at 5-6000ft (which means that's the altitude I was at when it stopped recording at the 2minute mark). From there I average how long my freefall time is by "guesstimating" about 10 secods for every 1000ft. I usually open at 3, so I get 2min20-30sec flights. You really shouldn't be using all that MUSCLE, maybe you're too tense, relax and let the muscle memory do the work! Well I don't know who you talked to, i think there are only 3 or 4 people who work there :-) I talked to them last week and they are working on one, it is just a software change so you can get the neptune that is out now and flash it later (if you have a computer with an IR port) once it has been released. Also they say the software should be out in september (for data dumps) and will be less than 50.00 Kevin

If you cut the correct area, then no because there are double stitches running horizontal to the vertical (which you cut) so the cut will go to the horizontal stitches and go no further...

Ummm....they're supposed to be when they say zero. It's kinda the law. And if they don't work then your plane is grounded. Well I know that plane just got checked off because the boogie was the first time it went up since getting checked off so who knows..
