    On wing suit jumps that I have done it appeared to me that I had less vertical altitude lost then on a non wing suit jump. It felt like I was thrown forward and the canopy was opening a little more horizontally then normal then I would swing back under the canopy. I never botherd to look for any data to back this up with, it wasn't something that I cared about.

    I would think wingloading would be a minor factor in how long it takes for the parachute complete the opening process. The major factors would most likely be how the canopy was packed and the size of the slider (as a prevous poster pointed out.) I don't know why this person really cares so much about the snivel? If it's too slow I could see that being a problem, but if it's fast and it's not hurting then I would consider that to be a good thing.

    That isn't a good comparison, because the snival would depend on more then just wing loading. It also depends on how the canopy was packed and the design of the canopy also to a small degree the body position of the person. Pulling in a track would make a difference.

    Sometimes it takes an injury for it to be real. Close calls were enough for me. I really didn't need to see those low turns or the canopy collision that resulted in one death or the guy cutting away at 15 feet from the ground.... etc

    There are plenty of other religions that have the same amount of supporting evidence that are now consider mythologys. So it's not about hope. It's just an observation.

    According to Scriptural interpretation by most scholars, during the Millennial Reign there will still be some souls who will not give up their allegiance to the Satanic evil force. At this time God will conduct the final White Throne Judgment of Satan and all those who have ever followed him. They will be cast into the eternal abyss. The old earth will be destroyed and the new earth created. I was never a Star Wars fan so these futuristic predictions don't interest me very much. I know that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is alive and the controlling factor in my life. That doesn't mean that I don't screw up. When I do I can confess my sins and remain in active, joyful relationship with confidence in Him. Therefore, I am assured peace of mind that surpasses all understanding. Ahh yes more superstition and mythology, yet no evidence. Without evidence you can expect your religion to die out a slow death.

    look at high school graduation rates as a starting point, then rates of criminal convictions. You'll find a marked difference unemployment for black men versus women and these two factors are a large part of why, rather than a vague assertion of racism. unless you're saying black men are less intelligent, or more criminal, than whites then racism is the answer here

    Sorry, but the wind conditions don't really change anything in regards to difficulty of freeflying or belly flying.

    There is a huge difference in the levels of violence by the "Right" and the Muslim extremists you are comparing them to. I don't understand how anyone could understand this "For example terrorism or acts of violence that you see on TV that Muslims commit when they are displeased with something." It's a very unproductive way of reacting to their situation.

    Freeflying is a tough discpline to learn. In my opinion, that is what make it more appealing to me. The added challenge makes it that much more exciting when I managed to hold a sit or take a dock. If you see each jump as a challenge to become better and increase your skills then freeflying will continue to be fresh and new. Keep pushing yourself and next thing you know you will find yourself flying head down docked on a formation thinking wow this is cool!

    I have put about 800 jumps on a Sabre 2 150 and currently have a Sabre 2 135 that I have over 800 jumps on now. The bucking is not a property of the canopy it's a result of having the brake lines too short to make use of the front risers. This would happen on any canopy if the brake lines were short enough that pulling down on the front risers would cause the brake lines to pull down on the tail. I lengthened my brakes so that I wouldn't have this problem on each Sabre 2.

    Kai3fly is talking about something entirely different. I think most if not all of the AVCHD camcorders haved some sort of HDMI output, either fullsize or mini. DVD recorders don't have HDMI input because they are not meant for recording HD video to DVD or Blu Ray. They are meant to record SD video to DVD.

    That would only be useful if the recorder converted the footage to AVCHD and then recorded it to the dvd disk for play back on a BluRay disk player. Otherwise it would be a waste of money.

    Isn't the deep end where we should all dive? Matt Kline says the nutter was sole owner of a skill set for a time. True? What else does one dive for near that particular end? Mark, The deep end refers to you finding a new low as yet unexplored by anyone else. You might want to reconsider your tactics.

    I would avoid predictions also! They are not worth much, less then weather predictions 10 days out.
