I think this depends on the plane. On an Otter the pilot generally doesn't wear a parachute of any kind. The observers that I have seen in an Otter were not required to wear a parachute, but were required to have their seatbelt on at all times. Same for a Caravan. Now on a Porter I have never seen an observer with out a parachute and not buckled in. It makes sense on a Porter because of their proximity to the door.

I think what she is trying to say is that a skydiving exit has no relation to a Base exit. A tumbled skydiving exit is no big deal. A tumbled Base exit is most likely a death sentence.

It's one big popularity contest. All politicians are worried about is staying in office and looking good. When people start to bitch in mass then the politican does what he has to do to make the masses happy.

apparently not and I try to model all of my jumps off of Pointbreak, but still haven't been able match their freefall time.

I am sure it could be hacked to change the record interval or maybe the company that makes them would do it for you.

I can already spot one major problem with using it on any skydive. The record interval is only adjustable from 1 min to 15 min. You would really need it down to 1 sec.

There is a Blackwater Inn Resteraunt on the St Johns river on 40 east of Ocala. Some how I don't think they had that in mind.

My point exactly who cares as long as the plane is in good shape. How they got the plane doesn't really matter as long as it was legal. -
