i'm assuming that this means just a normal swoop across the pond, like nothing to kick, or no zones to make it out of. in zhills, or at least when i was there, this means the round that everyone trys to get wet, or it was the day that we had a little "freestyle" round. later -
i've never jumped one like this, but i have seen a few, one that comes to mind in tony hathaway's spectre has dacron line, and his seams to fly great. later

yes, this is true, but if you lay the rig down flat it comes out very easily. the same thing happens on a vector 3. and what situation are you going to be in a sit or stand and you have to pop your reserve, and once the freebag is out what are the chances of you staying in that same postition . your worrying too much about it, just forget it and think it never happened. there are A SHIT LOAD of javelins out there, and i've never heard of someone having a problem pulling thier reserve . later

maybe yoshi (kevin) will say something on here, he jumps his ass off and his wife doesn't jump. and they seam to get along great. sometimes cristy would come out to the dz and just chill in her chair. hell she'd even sit around and talk to us, and you could tell she was cool with it when she got her new chair, she was like "hey, kevin get's his new rig, i get a new chair" later

my first one that i did was a feet first one, i'm not really very good on my head at all, but i'm super solit on my feet, and mike was like you just stay in a stand, and he was trying leading it in a stand for the first time, and now that's i guess how he leads a bunch of them. later

what's up so my dumbass was on my way to school this morning, and fuckin ran into another car. i hit it like going 3 mph didn't even scratch either of the cars. but they had to go and call the fuckin cops and file a report. but, i guess it was bound to happen sometime, and hey it got my into school late too. later

my buddy randy who jumps a v3 328 has a pdr 126, and a stilleto 135 in there (i'm the only one that packs for him usually). a 150 would be tight as hell, and would look bad. a 150 spectre might fit, due to the lower pack volume, but i'd still be kind of weary. and what does a big dude like you need a 126 for anyway? i'm assuming this is a question for someone else. later

well this situation should never occur in the first place, let me sat that first. and second, you shouldn't be counting in the door for seperation, you should be looking for the "45 degree angle". so giving 3 seconds isn't near enough time, and anyone who would give less time due to the spot, in my opinion is dumb, that's putting yourself and the people infront of you in a lot more danger than what they need to be. so, given you do have enough separation, then pulling high really won't matter, as long as you pull, and then start heading downwind (back towards the dz). and you are right, pulling high on a dz that has a few airplanes running wouldn't be the best idea, that's why we all need to look down before we get out, to prevent having to pull high, or landing off. but you did make a good point, but we don't need to re-think out old practices, we may just need to use them, like spotting. not many people i know from bigger dz's know how to spot. later -
for those with xbraced canopies

i don't know, i got the feeling, for me anyway, that about 2.1 was a good wing loading for my fx. i got really good distance with it, for an fx. i've jumped them at other wing loadings, and it seamed to me that it flew the best. oh well, everyone is different right. later -
they built me a great suit. three layers in the legs, and 2 in the arms. it's slow. they make a great suit. call down, if you want that color, get the material, and i'm sure they'll use it. or ask if they have it, they may have material that isn't on the site. later
