  1. my best stupid human trick would have to be swooping into the hanger at richmond, with only about 6" of clearance from the top of my canopy, and that's only when i have my feet tucked up, and my ass is like an inch off the ground, other wise it won't clear . later
  2. that's the funniest shit i think i've ever read. btw good info later
  3. hey i think you may want to work on that arch a bit. btw, nice looking rig. later
  4. hell yea, and when you come out you'll more than likely see my dumb ass trying one of these, because i'm dumb like that and if i'm working i'll make time to go make a jump with ya lata
  5. only you kevin would think of something like this. but hey, i'll dress up shit i'm not skurred later

  9. this is just freakin sick here. http://www.canopypiloting.com/BlindManVideo.wmv later
  10. at the moment we use static line, a few pilot chute assists, and a few drirect bag. but soon we will be switching to IAD, and converting all the rigs to BOC with the AFF pouches. later
  11. hey that rig has a good 20 jumps on it now, and it show no sign of wear, and it won't damnit!!! and well if it does, i still have like a yard of material there at wings so i can at least ship it back and only have to pay for the actual work, not more material too oh yea, nad the jumpsuit still looks good, didnt' really fase the "chrome" at all. later
  12. i never put jump suits in the dryer anyway, so i dont' have to worry about that at least. lata
  13. yea i should be able to get some, ankie at wings should have all the rest of my material. i'll look around for some other material too for the black and blue strips. i'll let ya know, if anything i'll have it for you when you come up in may. lata
  14. damn, that's a good idea, but it's too late. i already just threw the fucker in the washer, on delicate and cold. it should be ok, i hope. the most that i think will happen is the chrome stuff be dull and that happens with jumps anyway. later
  15. what's up does it fuck up the material when you wash it? do you wash it on cold or warm or what (i usually wash everything on cold) thanks

  17. vx, not a long snivel, but not a hard opening. quite nice in my opinion, out of the bag little bit of snivel and then starts to open. packing, somewhat sensative, make sure you have the slider in front of the nose. velo, long snivel, tends to "hunt" for a heading, packing is pretty easy, and hard to screw up. xaos 27, longer snivel than vx, shorter than velo, still hunts a bit, but not too much, packing is hard to screw up. all are around 2.1 2.2 i have no clue what the currnet delivery times are. they are all great canopies, and the only one i would never buy is the xaos, because i have a thing against precision, but they are still nice flying canopies. i would have to say i'd buy the vx (since i have one), i just like the way it flys better than the velo, it's just a different feel under the canopies, a differnt shut down, just different. i say this, but my next canopy may be a velo just for something different, but i'm keeping my vx around still. i have about 400 jumps on vx's (300 on my 85), 40 or so on a velo of differnt sizes (79, 84, and 96), and about 20 on a xaos 27 78. hope that helps some. later
  18. well if you remember the pic i attached, then your remember setp. of 2003's photo finish pic. well that pic i was only 15 years old at the time it was taken, and the time it was sent in and printed (i turned 16 this past novemeber). well someone decided that uspa needed to know that i was 15, and next thing i know my dad get's a call from jim crouch (head s&ta). i guess he started off with some small talk, and then my dad asked "well jim, you didn't just call me to just shoot the shit did you know" (my dad had a pretty good idea why he was calling) and jim says "well your right, i called to find out how old kelly is" my dad "well jim, your kind of putting me on the spot here you know" Jim "that's what i thought, well we're going to have to print a retraction or some sort" my dad "haha, well look canton air sports had nothing to do with the pic, it was my airplane and it was the airports pond, not the dropzones, so don't hold it against them for letting kelly jump" jim " ok good, that makes this easy" and next thing i know, october's issue came out, page 13 or 14, there it was "the subject of the photo finish of septembers issure does not meet the minimum age requirements set by the BSR's and usap regretes the error" now how fuckin cool is that. later
  19. your right, uspa does rock, they gave me something to brag about. i've been RETRACTED from uspa . i mean, who else can say they've been retracted . later
  20. where's the option "kevin's a loser who likes to post whore" later
  21. no, most people find them to be a tad long (even with using the front risers). later
  22. i don't stow mine, i just let it flop in the wind. i just make sure i look before i pop my brakes to make sure my hand isn't caught in the brake line or anything, i've been doing that for about 700 jumps, and i haven't had a problem yet later
  23. now next time come in with a phat swoop and stand her up in the peas
  24. my old bridle (pull out) was a 5' bridle, and it sucked. i had some hesitations. so when i ordered my new rig, i had them add 2' onto it. so now i have a 7' bridle (or maybe i just had em add a foot, i can't remember now), anyway i've had no problems with it now and have about 15 jumps on it. lata
  25. mine have been. i've used 24" ones for both. i now used a 28" f-111 for my pull-out. it makes no difference from what i can tell. lata
