what's up. so i'm wanting to teach my dad this summer how to do hook turns, and swoop properly. right now he does these nasty little 90's or less with toggles, and i just can't seam to get it into his head to use risers. but this summer he said he may actually let me try to teach him. i know it's going to take a lot of work, anyone have any suggestions how to get it through my dad's thick head to do hook turns right? i'm going to start him slow, considering he is old , and can't take a pounding anymore. but one day, by the end or this summer, i want to be able to go through on my buddy's crossfire and do a team landing with my dad, and get some good pics of it, now how fuckin cool would that be. thanks

what's up i hopefully will be selling my vx to this dude in the next few days, and will be ordering a new one (and 98.5 if you want to know). and haven't decided on colors yet. i have a few color skems (sp??), but my colors are blue, neon yellow, matalic silver (and i hate silver in canopies, so go with white as this color), and black. here's a few of what i picked out, i like offset. later

it's unacceptable for ANYONE to land off. i mean, we're all taught to look down when your getting your A license. and don't be skurred to tell the pilot his spot sucks and to turn around, you paid 20 bucks for a good skydive WITH a good spot damnit later

i haven't been able to get mine to sink, but i can get it pretty slow, and yes i have practiced this before, and the landing kinda sucks, but it's something that you do have to consider. the way i did it was a deep brake approach. and the best way to keep yourself from this is look down, and don't jump through clouds, or if you do, pull high to make it back. but sometime you make a bad decision, and shit happens later
