How about some good news for a change!!
wolfriverjoe replied to turtlespeed's topic in Speakers Corner
Well, they thought all of South & Central America were 'Mexican Countries' a while back. No surprise. Besides, if you've ever been to 'Da Yoo Pee' and across the bridge into Ontario, there's not a whole lot of difference. -
Something I've found is that the bigger the company, the better chance of masks.

So why did you post it?

for which crimes, if any, should Trump be prosecuted?
wolfriverjoe replied to SivaGanesha's topic in Speakers Corner
If Hunter Biden and the Clinton foundation did so much 'Nasty Stuff', why didn't Trump's pet, AG Barr, go after them? Is he so incompetent that he can't convict them of crimes? Or is it that he can't convict them for stuff they DIDN'T DO? Besides, the "Biden Ukraine" story was largely Russian propaganda. The Trump Foundation was largely shut down. A judge ruled that NONE of the Trump's (Donald or the brats) could have anything to do with it... Or any other charity. I'd bet there would have been criminal charges against Trump, had he not been in office. But you keep on pretending that it's the same thing.- 156 replies

Kommifornia Politico Demands "Re-Education Camps" for Conservatives
wolfriverjoe replied to a topic in Speakers Corner
Well, since you advocated that homeless people should be put into camps, given whatever drugs they want and turned into mulch when they die, I don't really think you should complain so much when other people advocate that people that are too stupid to understand that Covid is real, Q is a fraud and Trump is a con man should be 'put into camps, given whatever drugs they want and turned into mulch when they die'. Given that many of these morons are anti-mask, anti-vax, and are pretending that the whole pandemic is a hoax, it may well become self correcting. The whole Darwin thing, ya know. -
Where did he "admit he killed Faulkner"? He's maintained his innocence since the beginning. There were allegations of prosecutorial misconduct. But there's a dead cop and a black man to be blamed. So there you go.

for which crimes, if any, should Trump be prosecuted?
wolfriverjoe replied to SivaGanesha's topic in Speakers Corner
Great. Let's allow the various District Attorneys, State's Attorney's General and Federal Prosecutors to conduct an investigation as long and thorough as the ones Congress conducted on HRC's e-mails & Benghazi. Funny how many of those already have investigations underway. Funny how the Trump spawn are as deeply involved as he is. Eric has been ducking & dodging a sworn deposition for a few months. I'd rather see Trump and the brats investigated, indicted and tried for all the crap they've pulled with the Trump Foundation and "Trump Inc". While the Trumpettes might scream & yell that it's "political prosecution", leaving the crimes he committed while in office off the table (at least for a while) would mute a fair amount of that.- 156 replies

Zoomer Urges POS Biden to Forgive Student Debt via Exec Order...
wolfriverjoe replied to a topic in Speakers Corner
Nope. The reason we have so much homelessness today is because Reagan and the 80s Republicans relaxed the mental health laws and closed down a lot of hospitals. -
Technically true, but Mike Godwin himself said that his 'law' doesn't apply in this situation. There are stories floating around that his aides are simply 'going with it' and allowing him to continue to believe he won and will stay in office. You know, the same way you'd humor a senile older relative.

Zoomer Urges POS Biden to Forgive Student Debt via Exec Order...
wolfriverjoe replied to a topic in Speakers Corner
I guess it's kind of 'funny' that the only major industrialized country on the planet that doesn't offer some sort of subsidized health care to the population is also the only one that doesn't offer some sort of subsidized higher education. -
Don't forget her qualifications. Or more accurately, the lack of them.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998
wolfriverjoe replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
But PMs would mean he couldn't play the 'victim'. -
Not exactly. There have been 'more than a few' people who died of conditions that could have been treated, but they chose (or were forced) to stay away from the hospitals. One of the scarier things that I've come across is a look at overall morbidity. The excess deaths in 2020 far exceed the official Covid totals. Some are uncounted Covid deaths. Others are drug overdoses or suicides. Others are untreated conditions due to an overtaxed health care system. All of them can be laid at the feet of the fool who said 'it would just go away'. This link is CNN, but those who chose to call them 'Fake News' can find the same basic story (and the study that the story references) with a search: https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/12/health/us-deaths-covid-19-pandemic-jama-study/index.html

Well we know what group skydivers fit into now...
wolfriverjoe replied to Westerly's topic in Speakers Corner
No. They're wearing their Confederate Flag t-shirts. Making racist and sexist jokes. Not inviting them on jumps. Not socializing with them after jumping. Generally demonstrating that anyone not like them aren't really welcome. -
In 2000, the Florida race was very close. By the end, with all the other states counted, whoever won Florida was going to win the election. So there were recounts. As the process calls for. Then there were some weird happenings with the actual ballots (hanging chads). And it got silly. Then Roger Stone (that name might ring a bell) pulled a few tricks and the Supreme Court stopped the recounts with Bush ahead. (look up "Brooks Brothers Revolution"). Currently, Georgia is recounting all the ballots. 4.9 million of them. By hand. The final tally was close enough that the recount was automatically triggered. As the process calls for. However, there are reports out there that Republican officials are pressuring the SecState in Georgia to toss out ballots that were legally cast. That's NOT what the process calls for. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/georgia-secretary-state-raffensperger-says-sen-graham-asked-him-about-n1247968 And as far as free speech and the bill of rights goes, there are lots of exceptions to free speech. You can't say 'just anything'. Some speech has consequences. Some speech can be prosecuted. Many of the other Amendments to the BoR have been altered from how they were originally intended. 2nd, 4th, 5th, 10th. That's how that goes. (hint: look up the definition of the word 'amendment').

Or all the Qcumbers who kept waiting for all the indictments and military tribunals.

Baseball batting golves. Football receiver's gloves. Mechanic's gloves. And... Skydiving gloves. They are all similar. Thin but solid. Good coverage, without losing too much dexterity. In the "Question" forum, you asked about cold weather (I think that was you), and I suggested being able to tie your shoes with the gloves on. I've never used the football gloves, but I've used the other 3. Currently using a pair of actual "skydiving" gloves. The white ones the 4 way folks like (it's easier to see the grips if the hands are white and the suits are black). Personally, I wear gloves on every jump. I've managed to burn through the palms of a pair or two on 'slidey' landings. And tore the crap out of one on a sharp door edge (or something sharp on the plane). I'd much rather buy a new pair of gloves than deal with stitches or a good friction burn.

Why? They tell him exactly what he wants to hear. That's what he wants. Truth? Reality? What's actually happening? Pfft. That's 'linear thinking'.
-
Oh, piffle. There has been absolutely ZERO evidence that Q is real. Tons and TONS of solid information that it's a load of garbage. Ron don't need no stinking evidence. He has his 'feelings'. So it MUST BE true.

Bingo. It's coming out that the fine print in the "Trump Election Defense Fund" pleas say that a large percentage will go to pay off the campaign's debts. Some of it will go straight into Trump's pockets. https://apnews.com/article/money-donald-trump-election-defense-flow-d533491164bd4cae7ac47392ca740c7d I'm going to guess the lawyers are starting to realize that they stand a pretty good chance of ending up like so many of the people that do business with Trump... Screwed.
-
Wait a minute... How would you know that Q was 'de-platformed' if there haven't been any posts? And, again, what happened to your 'back channel comms'? I would expect that all those 'former CIA' and "Spec-Ops" types would have had some sort of back up plan. They can't even shut up that idiot over on the Cooper thread who's gone completely bananas over some dude who sort of looks like the drawing. He's been banned about a zillion times, yet keeps on making sock puppets and posting porn. If that dude can get around a ban, why can't all those Q 'experts'?

So was Sadat. In that case, it was Muslim extremists who were mad because he made peace with Israel.

What kind of stamp are you looking for? Signature stamps? Those can be custom made. "Jumper" stamps (the little figure for putting the formation in a logbook)? I think ParaGear had them, but it's been a while since I looked. Maybe some of the other gear stores. Also, lots of places will make a custom stamp of anything you can draw (or find a drawing of).

What was your first jump? And another question
wolfriverjoe replied to Howeller's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I spent all my money on fast cars, women and skydiving. The rest I just wasted. -
And you said Q had been shut down. The reviews are pretty telling.
