  1. You guys can laugh all you want, the truth of the matter is the Prince some how managed to turn that ball of shit into a controllable canopy and survive, not only did he save his own life, he also averted probable ground casualties in the process. PayPal @ jclalor@dropzone.com
  2. Very sad. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/11/29/sheriff-says-georgia-stand-your-ground-law-may-apply-to-fatal-shooting-man/
  3. Interesting how if this guy was swooping in the non-HP area of a DZ, people here would want his head for putting other peoples lives at risk. It was nice to see the Snopes guy have the good manners to take out a truck and not the back window of a car with some kids in the back seat.
  4. I think this group may be right down your alley. http://www.splcenter.org/blog/2013/11/22/man-who-claims-ties-to-christian-american-patriot-militia-threatens-obama-in-facebook-post/
  5. Move over Citizen Kane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xReYMOL8nZY&feature=youtube_gdata
  6. How so? It's like living in a dry county. You have the freedom to move if you don't like it. When people ask me why I moved west, I always say, "no damn dry counties." It seems that if Texas is as progressive and open-minded as portrayed in the video, Rick Perry is not very representitve of them. I really have little doubt the video is accurate, it just goes to show how our government is very out of touch with whom they represent.
  7. It would then appear that the people of Texas are being poorly represented by their elected Government.
  8. He was very fortunate his crime was not committed in his home state of Florida. A felony conviction there would have stripped him of his right to vote in his state. I wonder if he will now be a strong proponent of reducing coke down from a felony in the lone star state. As a Nurse, every job I have applied for I got drug tested, it seems like a good idea. One thing I never understood is if medical Marijuana is legal, why can that be used as a reason to deny employment?
  9. You got me. I have no idea what you are talking about on any of your three points. http://news.yahoo.com/bushs-jews-jesus-speaking-gig-troubles-pro-israel-230400448.html
  10. Speaking of GW, He sure is pissing off Israel with all of this "lets convert the Jews real quick so we can have our Armageddon." This was a very strange move for an ex-President who has been very silent for the last 5 years. It's pretty ironic that some paid $100,000 to attend, you would think God should not have that much of a cash flow issue.
  11. You don't believe there's been a hard working Black in this country since slavery.
  12. This is truly wonderful news, any human being who would prey on families experiencing their darkest hours after loosing a child or other loved one, absolutely makes this world a better place no longer being apart of it. http://m.nydailynews.com/1.1524107
  13. If the ACA is as terrible as you claim, 2014 would be a cakewalk right to 2016, all you would have to do is wait. But I have a feeling that people are going to notice those "little things", Like them or their loved ones staying healthy and not dying. I'm waiting to hear from the first Righty, with a pre-existing medical condition who steps forward and refuses the insurance that they can now afford. Someone perhaps with an aggressive cancer that can be treated successfully early, but will die otherwise. Perhaps you have seen some of those tv adds by the Koch brothers, billionaires telling people not to buy health insurance, that's priceless. It kind of reminds me of the GOP tv adds of the elderly people being wheeled off of cliffs, but now it's everyone. Perhaps you've noticed all those people on Fox who claim they lost, were denied or can no longer afford their insurance, all of them debunked.
  14. I think there's a difference between people who commit crimes due to very poor decision making like greed, and then their are the sociopaths. The million dollar question is telling the two apart. There is know known cure for sociopaths, those are the ones who really scare me, a person who is capable of planning, committing and living with themselves with zero remorse after committing heinous crimes. So I guess some people are hard-wired criminals. I just feel very strongly that adults who commit premeditated crimes against children are a "Special" breed of Human, who deserves unique punishment.
  15. There's a huge difference between consensual sex between a 21 year old and a 17 year old and any rape of a 6 year old by a 21 year old. They are not the same crimes. I'm all for mandatory minimums involving non-consensual sex where the victim is under 18, perhaps even adding another 2 years for each year younger the victim is. I actually see no issue with child sex offenders being removed from society for life. I believe People's sexuality is hard wired from birth, just as you can never expect a gay or straight person to reverse their sexuall attraction, you can't expect a pedophile to change. You can't change how a person thinks, but once they act upon it, remove them from society.
  16. Not all that interesting considering that GZ told police the guns were locked in a safe and the police were now obtaining a search warrant. http://m.ksat.com/nationalnews/Zimmerman-in-court-on-assault-charge/-/15998364/23045128/-/vjhwax/-/index.html
  17. I always forget the fact that GZ & OJ were both found not guilty, and therefore should be accorded all due respect. I'm certain the behavior that GZ exhibits in the future will prove all of his detractors wrong about his character and not being a valued member of society.
  18. It's ironic that more than one of the regular posters here claim that GZ saved us all from the mayhem that TM was certainly going to unleash one day upon society. What else needs to be said about a guy who has had three different women accuse him of violence and who also shot and killed a child. He's a pussy.
  19. The point I was making was that there is always a segment of our country that can not simply disagree with a President, but claim that they are traitors and criminals who deserve what ever they may get. I guess 50 years ago the idea of a Catholic being President was enough to drive some people to be bat shit crazy. Rather interesting. This technique has been used by the present administration quite nicely. Remember the allegations of treason because a group of Republicans in Congress decided to use Constitutional authority? It shut down the government because they wanted a one-year delay of the individual mandate of the ACA and it was called treason. The term "Tea Party Traitors" has been thrown around quite frequently. (Now, of course, the Democrats want it.) Both sides are equally adept at throwing "treason" out there. I used to hate the Republicans most because they were in charge. Now that there's a democrat in charge, I get very concerned when those who have opposing political views are branded as traitors. I joined DZ.com in the final months of the Bush administration, I'm pretty sure back then, as now I posted some pretty negative things about Bush. I also remember one of the first threads I started was on the bull shit of Michael Moore and his movie "Fahrenheit 911" It drove me crazy to see one small fact in that movie weaves into a huge mi-truth. While I may have hated Bush, I knew that his master plan was not to destroy this country. I think he truly believed his policies were in this countries best interest. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=3328196;page=1;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25;

  21. And some things never change. http://johnfitzgeraldkennedy.net/wantedfortreason.htm
  22. Way to ignore the fact that a guy that drinks is not a 3YO. Way to ignore the simple fact that all I did was point out how the insurance system has to work. So, would YOU be willing to pay more for car insurance to allow drunk drivers to get insurance? Simple question, please answer it. Of course not, but that's not the question. Should I pay the same insurance rates as a smoker? Under the ADA smokers pay more. Should normal folks pay the the same rates as Base Jumpers? A man of your age should realize the world is not always fair.
  23. And mine went up..... This is the only way this plan works. People who SHOULD be paying more don't. Those who should be paying less have to pay more to subsidize your lower rates. It would be like having to insure people with multiple DUI's and not being allowed to charge them more. So those without DUI's will have to pay more to cover the losses caused by covering the drunks at the same rate. Your right. Why should a 3 year old girl who needs a heart and lung transplant pay the same rate for insurance coverage as a healthy 3 year old girl? Of course no insurance company would insure the sick one, I think they have a "Death Panel" that handles that end of the business. God bless this country and the GOP.
  24. Heller absolutely has the right attitude, but all he's going to get for his courage is a GOP supported tea bagger to challenge him in his next primary. I really thought the GOP was smart enough to pretend that they supported Gay rights.
