  1. This is exactly what's wrong with the Conservative party today, no matter how offensive and ridiculous a statement is, not one has the testicular fortitude to speak out against it. As long as the GOP is shaking in thier boots at the prospect that Limbaugh may sink thier (re)election, that party remains a bunch of pussies and sooner than later will be a political foot-note.
  2. Why is it that on one hand, the government is one of the most inept and un-trustworthy organizations ever, that can't ever be trusted to do even the most basic of task, and yet OTOH, you have no issue with trusting them with the capital punishment of its citizens? How do you ever rationalize that? In other news today, Obama commuted the life sentences of several crack dealers, that was goog news.
  3. ***In addition to his remarks about homosexuality, Robertson also suggested in the interview that black people he grew up with were happier under Jim Crow laws of segregation. “They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’ — not a word!” Robertson said. “Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.” (Ref: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/12/19/conservatives-rally-around-suspended-duck-dynasty-star-phil-robertson/) I remember what he is talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H2W1lK7P-I [/quote I was very curious to see what you were going to reference... You nailed it.
  4. What's really scary is that a man of your education could see this as a freedom of speech issue. What's also going to be fun is to watch his upcoming half ass apology. What's amazed me these last couple of years is America's new found fascination with white trash reality shows.
  5. are you just now noting the similarities in: 1 - what fanatics will believe in to validate their views? 2 - how both sides will define an entire group of people by fanatics that live in the fringe of that group? it's a start, congrats What was once considered the Conservative fringe is now routinely elected to national office, not so much on the left. Bwahahahahahahahahahhhaa Wilson Reagan wouldn't stand a prayer in today's GOP. Neither would JFK.
  6. If proven it was Christy, he should get the boot. He could have killed someone. http://m.nydailynews.com/1.1547508

  10. Have you ever noticed conservatives, in particular the Tea Party, have no problem accepting the most far fetched conspiracies involving Obama? Yet when liberals are (were) presented with 911 and chem-trail conspiracies about Bush, they just shook their heads and laughed.
  11. Perhaps a little bit off topic... But it seems with all the crosses you see these days, that if Jesus ever did come back, a cross is the last thing that guy would want to see.
  12. "I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires." -Susan B Anthony-
  13. FCS Dan He was repeating what another said to him Lighten the hell up dude On another note Had the original poster posted articles about the thousands of Christian that have been butchered in the world this year, I would have taken him seriously but his bigoted views toward Christians is not supported by doing that So I consider this just another drive by anti-Christian post. Thousands of Christians butchered because of their faith? Perhaps you could enlighten us and tell us where this is occurring?
  14. Wonder where they learned this form of Christiantity? There have also been reports of children being accused of witchcraft and then murdered in Uganda and Kenya. http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-10671790 It seems humans save the most evil and brutal acts for people who have, or those being suspected of belonging to a different faith. OTOH, I'm sure that Ron will be Along shortly to educatd us on the OT, and why this was the only thing that any real God fearing Christian could do.
  15. Ooh. Brutally logical. Ooh. I was joking.
  16. Taking a picture with her was the least he could do, he'd been listening in on her cell phone calls for years. That was diplomacy in action, Michelle had to take one for the good of the country.
  17. Yeah. It reminds too many people not to steal. The only thing reminding you not to steal is the 7th commandment? That's sad that you don't have an innate sense that tells you stealing is wrong. What about murder? Do you have to reference back to the commandments only to be reminded murder is wrong ? It's always fun to ask your more religious frinds the importance ot the 10 commandments, then ask them to name all of them. I've yet to find one that can . It sure is fun watching them squirm.
  18. It will interesting to see how this turns out. What's good for the goose... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/12/09/satanists-seek-spot-next-to-ten-commandments-monument-on-steps-oklahoma/
  19. She should have just signed the ticket and avoided putting her children in the middle of that. As soon as I found out she was home schooling those kids, I knew the odds were high that she was nuts. Your last statement is just a troll, right? Not really, I find that most homeschooled children, along with thier parents are socially inept. I think anyone who gets out of the house just a little more often, and in particular a black woman, would know you shouldn't fuck around with an enraged cop pointing a gun at you and your children.
  20. And on occasion they combine both. Some Orthodox Jews have their child circumcised by a Mohel, this person snips off the foreskin and then places the babies penis in his mouth and sucks off the blood. A few years ago a couple of babies died after contracting herpes from the process.

  24. Hang on a minute, screw the sherriff, is this seriously a conversation where people are comparing Margaret Thatcher with Nelson Mandela? Well, only one of them was a terrorist… Well you know what they say... One mans terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
