  1. I really don't do FB much and I just noticed some friend request, I'm not really sure how long they have been there. I'm feeling kind of stupid.
  2. Is it possible to tell when a friend request came? Thanks
  3. Regardless of your stance on gun control, more people would have been dead if this guy had used firearms. That would depend on the caliber, mostly. A stab wound can be MUCH MUCH harder to survive than a small caliber bullet wound.
  4. I always found it odd that a college age child could be denied financial aid based on the parents income, even if the child has been "cut off" like this one.
  5. Evidently adding a go pro would not be a factor for someone new.
  6. Speaking of money and lies, who told the biggest whopper? If you like your insurance, you can keep it. Or With all the oil, this war will pay for it self.
  7. What specific help would it have provided? Did it have any way to pay for that $21 billion? We were spending well over 20 billion a month in Iraq and Afghanistan. If we can't afford to take care of our Veterans when they come home, we can't afford to go to war. The next time the GOP tells you how much they support Veterans, while wrapped in a flag and waving a bible, try not to vomit.
  8. There was a rather simple solution. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Sh8mNjeuyV4
  9. BTW, I don't think this case really deals with the "Heckler's veto". I think it's based on Tinker v Des Moines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tinker_v._Des_Moines_Independent_Community_School_District
  10. You expected different from the 9th Cir? Schools are for learning, not for political theatre. This school is about 2 blocks from me and most from around here forgot all about this.
  11. Why would Obama seek to reduce our world effectiveness? What's his motivation? I believe he sees us as a neo-colonial empire and he does hates colonialism. That upbringing coupled with his communist training is why he desires to fundamentally change America. He's done a masterful job fooling Wallstreet.
  12. When it looks like slim pickings for black teenagers, and you really want to shoot something...
  13. That story exists in other forms in plenty of more mainstream news outlets too. Don't disregard simply because you don't like that one source. US Finance Post: http://usfinancepost.com/is-connecticut-preparing-for-gun-confiscation-14238.html Washington Times: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/feb/19/editorial-connecticuts-gun-revolt/?utm_source=RSS_Feed&utm_medium=RSS The Blaze: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/02/26/is-gun-confiscation-on-the-way-in-connecticut-see-the-notices-the-state-is-reportedly-sending-to-owners-of-illegal-firearms/ Fox CT: http://foxct.com/2014/02/11/thousands-who-failed-to-register-guns-could-become-felons/ NewsMax: http://www.newsmax.com/TheWire/connecticut-gun-law-ignored/2014/02/13/id/552558 Do you think these gun owners should be imprisoned as felons for simply ignoring paperwork? What!!! No Breitbart.com?
  14. you mean atrocities "against" Muslims. Sure I can take it both ways, but I believe for the moment (and near future), the Muslims have the upper hand. The fact of the matter is that when an extremist Muslim kills, they are most likely killing another Muslim.
  15. You should really consider packing up the shingle and joining the folks over at Fox. SOB and fainting are symptoms of anxiety, a very small percentage of the time, these are mostly associated with cardio problems. Being an male African American male in his sixties, he is far more like he have coronary issues. Classy people typically put aside politics and wish for a speedy recovery when news like this is first heard.
  16. I can relate, I've awoke a few times after some heavy partying to something very similar to that ending.
  17. Feeling safe and feeling secure are two different questions.
  18. I never heard of this until today, I'm sure it's going to help some, but I've known way too many people who have had their lives destroyed by pills. http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/story/24823764/minn-mom-hopes-to-halt-hydrocodone-only-painkiller
  19. Keep those fingers crossed and perhaps you'll be around if those times should ever come, that's is what you are hoping for, right?
  20. I heard Tucson is receiving lots of letters of support from their "sister city" Kampala.
  21. ^^^^^^ THIS That was when they were actually protecting and serving WE The People. While we're on the subject of scumbag cops, this is a town about 50 miles from my house, 90% of the residents are un-documented workers Who live there. http://m.ksbw.com/news/king-city-police-chief-miller-and-exchief-baldiviez-arrested/24662946
  22. It is bad no matter who overspent, If it is always bad, and the US has been doing it every year for the last 179 years, (and for decades prior to 1835) how come the US became the world's richest country and the only superpower? Over spending is not always bad Indeed it seems to be OK just so long as a Republican is in the White House. I don't think the Right would even have an issue with deficit spending by most Democrats, but an uppity Democrat is a whole other story.
  23. You mean like that totally hetro thing described in the Bible where a dude jerks a chick off so hard she craps? Completely God approved! I'm serious. It's in there and very few people I know have a problem with it. Song of Solomon 5:4 So yeah, I have no idea why some factions of religion have an issue with some things but not others. My personnal favorite bible verse is Ezekiel 23:11-21, describing the lovers of a permiscuos prostitute as beng hung like donkeys and able to cum like horses. That would make for an interesting animated children's bible story.
  24. Sometimes simplicity is best. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2515598/Launch-code-US-nuclear-weapons-easy-00000000.html
