  1. I always loved their argument that Obama wants to spend money like a drunken sailor - but "death panels" will deny everyone specialized care because it's too expensive. They can't even get their story straight.
  2. I just read Buffet legally evaded 400 million of taxes due to special tax laws. And that is fine, the supreme court says so. But just don't stand next to the President and say the rich need to pay more taxes. Fork tongue. Because we all know what a tight ass Buffet is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Giving_Pledge
  3. I'm so glad that I live in California. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/03/17/judge-rules-against-creationist-teacher-who-called-buddhist-students-faith-stupid/

They just make me sad. Wilful ignorance. You should try spending a Thanksgiving weekend with that lot... FAUX news on all day on the telly... and at 5 PM I asked if I could turn the channel to some real news yet, The crickets in the house were deafening as everyone looked over to my uncle to see his reaction. Some of those on Fox know where to get real news. http://t.mediaite.com/mediaite/#!/entry/fox-contributor-breaks-ranks-admits-to-watching-cnn-for-breaking,5327156ae56d0bb85355b4a5/1
  5. Why build more prisons? This sounds like the type of crime that the new FEMA camps could handle just fine. Do you really think that "Infowars" is a credible source and adds legitimacy to any thing you have to say?
  6. Oh they have a motive allright. It's called "Revenge for being born." Akmadinijah
  7. Really? Have I ever said anything close to that? You're taking a page right out of the NRA play book; when ever any measure is suggested to regulate who can buy guns, no matter that 90% of the population is in favor of background checks, just flail your arms and scream that their coming to take all of your guns.
  8. With China being a major supporter of Iran, it just doesn't seem to make much sense that Iran would be fucking with a bunch of their citizens.
  9. I've tried, but I keep having recurrent dreams I'm falling.
  10. I have not heard anyone here ever say a person should not have the right to have a gun in their own home for protection. It's incredible how an argument to have things like background checks and abolishing SYG, get construed into they want to take all of your guns.
  11. Just spend the $2100 and then you'll have more opportunities to make more serious cash than you ever could have imagined. People here are not going to tell you the truth because they don't want to ruin a good thing.
  12. Typical cop mentality. Do as I say, not as I do. YOU WILL COMPLY He had walked into the lobby to text, that's a bit different than texting during a movie, so their actions were not equal. With that said, he's still guilty of murder.
  13. Or keeping at the top of his game in his profession... Or maybe he was an instructor... Or maybe he trained terrorists as a hobby... Just playing devil's advocate. Or he had to become acquainted with airports that he had never landed at.
  14. One of the worse things about not finding the wreckage will be the countless conspiracy theorist, blaming everything from extraterrestrials To President Obama.
  15. Hmmm. Could it be because the President keeps granting extensions? So, for example, the Treasury Department just granted extensions to companies with between 50-100 to comply - extensions until 2016! So, yeah. The horror stories that are said to be coming from the ACA aren't just stories. The Admin thinks they are legitimate. Which is why it keeps delaying them. The administration is only conceding that the Right has been sucsessful in convincing many people that the ACA is evil. The delay is only being done to help the Dems in 2014 elections. Slowing down the rollout will also give it time to gain more traction, and that is already happening. Do you not see the issue with the story I cited? Do you really think it's ethical to take someone, who very well may have a terminal condition, and put them through the stress of thinking their medical insurance has worse coverage, when in fact it is better? I think that's some evil shit.
  16. Do you really think he would KNOWINGLY take a picture with hookers? Or perhaps he should inquire of ones profession every time before being photographed with strangers. Slick Willie was living for the moment. He didn't care who these women were. They're daddies could have been preachers or judges. It does not matter (except for their resumes). ?
  17. Why is it that every ACA horror story is always debunked? Why can't the Right present a single story that can stand up to just a little fact checking? http://www.deadlinedetroit.com/articles/8675/deceit_michigan_woman_s_claim_in_anti-obamacare_commercial_are_false#.Ux_aE7K9KSM
  18. I never understood why a rig that is not "free fly friendly" is okay for students, when they have the potential for prolonged tumbling and unintentional back flying.

  20. If you're gonna spend a trillion dollars, and sacrifice the lives of thousands of Americans, you better try and figure out what the long term implications of invading a middle eastern country are goings to be. Greeted as liberators and the Iraqi oil will pay all of our war cost is what we were promised by Bush/Cheney, unbelievable. Gosh, no one can stick to the subject of child molestation. So everything that's wrong with Iraq is Bush's fault. It was the garden of Eden before Bush's invasion. Everything was just perfect. If not for the invasion, Iraq today would ba shining beacon of prosperity and human rights. Got it. Any US foriegn policy decision made in the Middle East should always involve the lesser of multiple evils. If I'm given the choice of a fundamentalist government or a secular government in the Middle East, I'll take the secular every day.
  21. So you're saying that this practice didn't exist in Iraq before Bush ousted Saddam? Without looking much more into it I'm guessing not. The reasoning is that its the Shii'te's who are behind this and Saddam was busy gassing those folks, so I doubt they had much leeway to try and enforce child rape laws. Besides I think if recall correctly Saddam was fairly secular compared to most Middle-east Muslims. So Bush should have foreseen this coming and not invaded in order to save the future children from rape? I'm just wondering at what point you'll actually get around to blaming the people actually responsible for this decision, instead of blaming what Bush did 10 years ago...

  23. I'm a single parent, and I knew he would be surrounded by men of good strong character," Glaspell said in an interview. "And I knew they could provide him with the example and encouragement he's going to need as a young boy." As a rule, a much larger percentage of men with "good strong character" who enjoy the company of young boys are up to no good. .
  24. Monterey is a beautiful DZ for a tandem, but for AFF they are way too slow, it could take you months. I have known several people who have paid up front and then drove countless times out to Monterey only to be fogged, winded, or tandemed out of their AFF jump. Hollister has turned into the same gig. Your best bet is Byron or Davis, or if you like to live a bit on the edge, Lodi.
