  1. Go down to Barns and Noble and get a copy of Sams Teach Yourself Adobe Premiere Pro in 24 Hours (I've attached a pic to this post). It sells for $30. Both problems in your rant are easily solved with the use of motion menus and nested sequences. If you take the time to learn Premiere you'll find it's pretty intuitive. Edit for spelling...I hope. 4. I would not be interested in only 1 gig of storage. I want to take my whole music library with me so at least the 40 Gig ipod. Does anyone have experience with one of these for flying or jumping at high altitudes? Skydive Radio
  5. Is anyone jumping or flying (in unpressurized aircraft)with an Ipod? Is the 10,000 foot limit a real issue or will it work for flying and jumping above say 16000 msl? I am thinking about buying one but if I can't use it while flying it kind of defeats the purpose. Skydive Radio

  8. I just use an Access database. If you have Office you already have Access. Works fine for me. Skydive Radio
  9. You access the one in Premiere by right clicking in the project window and going to New Item>Universal Counting Leader. Skydive Radio
  10. I think the standard frame rate for NTSC should be 29.97 fps, and 30.00 fps for PAL. Maybe you started your project using PAL settings or maybe your using footage taken with a PAL camera within an NTSC project? Im not familiar with the software your using but you may need to choose NTSC or PAL when you start your project the first time. This could be your problem. Skydive Radio
  11. Sounds distracting to me. Don't think I'd allow it for one of my passengers. Skydive Radio
  12. Chris, Try dropping a widescreen mask on top of your entire project. There's a preset for it in the titler in Premiere Pro. Just put it on a video track above everything else in your project. It will crop the top and bottom of your video and give you that wide screen feel. If you can't figure it out give me a call. Skydive Radio
  13. I have had the same experience so I always try to dock if it works out. I think the important thing is to know when it is safe to do so and make sure you have your other freefall shots already in the bag. (edit for quote) Skydive Radio
  14. Do a search for threads with DVD Recorders. It's a quick and easy way to offer tandems on DVD. Skydive Radio

  20. There is no charge for camping in tents or Rv's. In fact there is no charge for electric hookup's either but they are usually all taken by Wednesday night. Gates open at noon on Wednesday and even though the boogie does not officially start until Thursday, there is usually a load or two late Wednesday afternoon. Cya there. Skydive Radio
  21. There will be free organizing for both freefly and RW. Larry Clap and Tom (can't remember his last name) out of Texas do the RW and big way organizing. In the past Rob Romey has done Freefly organizing but I heard it is going to be someone else this year. Not sure on that though. Skydive Radio

  24. Dont see anything on cost. Any ideas? Also, I thought the 10D had a faster frame rate? I once heard like 9 frames per second? Would have liked to see them get rid of the 1.6 ratio as well but I see that is still there :( Guess I'll wait a bit longer. Skydive Radio
