  18. The purpose of this poll is not to change USPA's mind. Its purpose is to find out what the community thinks about the decision. I spoke with USPA's executive director Chris Needles today. He told me that although the decision has already been made anything can always be revisited. USPA is "our" organization. If the members want the awards program and make USPA aware of it I see no reason why USPA would not reverse it's decision. The question I am posing is, "do we want the awards program?" -Dave Skydive Radio
  19. Our site is back up after 3 days. Our provider had a hard drive crash. We're sorry for the delay but the new show is now up at www.skydiveradio.com Thanks to everyone who sent emails and pm's to make us aware of the problem. -Dave Skydive Radio
  20. The new show is up. Many thanks to Dave DeWolf for joining us. Skydive Radio
  21. If people don't want them then you're right, there is no reason in having them. If on the other hand there are still people that want them and it is an issue of cost, then why not just raise the price of the awards so the program pays for itself? The point of this poll is to see if there is a desire for the awards. Skydive Radio
  22. The following was found on USPA's web site under USPA Board Meeting Completes for 7.17.05. The single bullet sentence reads: This would be awards such as the Falcon, Eagle, 4-stack, 8-stack and others. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think we should continue to have an awards program or not? Skydive Radio
  23. Or for a quick answer...you can preview some transitions in Premiere Pro without rendering but if you are wanting to export to tape you will need to render first. -Dave Skydive Radio
  24. Chrissay, Do you have full time editors or do your video guys edit for themselves? Skydive Radio
  25. John, Editing tandems on an NLE is way too time consuming. Get yourself a mixer, titler and dvd recorder. Do all your editing in camera as you shoot and your life will be much easier. Takes me about 15 minutes to edit and I hand it to them right away. PM me if you want some info on equipment. Or just look me up at couchfreaks and I'll show you my setup. Cya there. -Dave Skydive Radio
