I had an incredible even photo/audiographic memory. apparently, according to all sources & documents/evidence, I had to see, read or hear something, only ONE time. & still be able to recall EVERY detail. right up to the day I suffered the stroke. what a coincidence. & even more so that when I final woke up in the ICU weeks later I couldn't recall my own identity or what had happened to me. my pleasure. thank you for all you do. & wow, interesting way to celebrate the 4th. I celebrated mine, running around NYC with some friends. ending the running with the best seat & most spectacular view I've ever had of the Macy's pyrotechnics display. on an 44th St. highrise, rooftop seat, only a block from the FDR & the River. & weather permitting I'll be wrapping up the holiday weekend today making my 3rd & 4th jumps. & its only because of people like you & the others this thanks is intended for, that I get to do things like spend as much time & $$ as I care to jumping out of pefectly good airplane, that are going to land safely anyway. & raising hell all over the big apple & dz .com. AND in REPLY to kbordson[/B] um let's see I was only off by one digit (9 in place of a 6) referring to an address I have only visited twice in my life to the best of my recollection. after having a had a near fatal stroke (in fact should have been fatal, according to the shocked attending MDs & surgeons) that left me unable to retrieve a great deal of lost memory. including; an entire block of years, mid 90's thru 2000, from which I can recall almost nothing. including, without reference to documents I may have from that time, my own address from that period. I find it immensely ironic, that I'm attacked regarding this, by the one person here that is a medical doctor, as if it were only an excuse & not a legit, reason for memory loss/difficulty bad day at the office? did you deliver a baby today with an attitude problem that tugged on your head, with giant medical salad tongs & slapped you back, on your ass in an act of rebelion & defiance? it wasn't me dr. rim shot. & re: 'he had his leg amputated......' so can he still wiggle his toes that used to be 'stored' on the amputated limb? as you openly mock the fact that I have difficultly recalling memory that used to be stored in the brain region 'cut-off' & damaged from my stroke. or would you instead rather concede, we are talking apples & oranges here. & your comment as such was uncalled for?
